Nelson Team Were Excellent
We were happy with the quote, service and packing, the Nelson Team were excellent. They worked well, packed quickly and professionally and were a pleasure to have in our home.
The delivery people appeared to be inexperienced and barely capable of unloading. The truck didn't have a ramp therefore unloading heavy or bulky items straight from the truck deck to the ground was an accident waiting to happen. It was unsafe as the two men and one young woman did not appear to have the skills or ability, to unload or carry heavy furniture safely. The fridge and washing machine were almost dropped and required assistance from both us and our friends helping us unpack. As we are 70+ and some with health conditions this was not the service we expected or paid for. We have moved with Conroys before and have always been happy with the work carried out.

Could not fault the move. Great communication. We moved from Australia to NZ. When we first went to Australia from NZ we used another company, that did not care about you. Conroy's were excellent from start to finish.

Excellent All Round
From Christine's service in Tauranga to the guys off loading the containers in Paihia, they were all great and so helpful. Excellent all round. On time and no breakages.
Seamless Move
Yes, we would recommend Conroy Removals. Our experience has been great with both pricing and service. The Christchurch based driver helped in the packing, uplifting at Blenheim and delivery at Rangiora a few days later as arranged. Our goods arrived in the same condition as pick up. Even the pot plants were fine. Without exception the packing staff, from Nelson and Blenheim and the unloading staff from Christchurch and Napier were efficient and practical. What impressed us the most was how well mannered and personable they all were. We had timing issues on delivery day but these young men, in particular the driver, showed amazing patience with our situation. This made our experience so much better than it could have been. We would commend this company and their quality staff to any prospective client.
Great Experience
Great experience with Conroy Removals for our move from Whanganui to Nelson. Teams at both ends were quick, efficient and very friendly. Took great care of our belongings.
A Magnificent Job
Price-wise Conroy was my choice. I thought maybe I might be losing something in accepting the lowest quote but everything was fine. The boys packing in Australia did a magnificent job. In total two cups and two bowls broke but they were packed by me. Everything Conroy packed arrived unscathed. Highly recommended.
Friendly team but not the best care taken of items when unloading e.g. lounge suite cushions removed from packaging and thrown onto deck of truck. Prompt response to request for quote, clear communications and pricing.
