I found communication from the office bad but having said that The guys that did the packing went way beyond my expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. They even upacked a box to find something I had packed by mistake.We had two differant crews and they equally as good as each other. So yes I would highly recommend them all. Just pick up on the communication from the office side . Regards Dale Spear
Conroys made the move process really easy - it's our second time using them and we highly recommend them
We moved an entire 2 bedroom house from Auckland to Wellington through Conroy. From start to end, the service was awesome. Firstly Rebecca was very helpful in providing us the quotes multiple times as we changed the list of goods to be moved almost 3 - 4 times. Our house in Auckland had stairs and not-so-easy access. But the boys were super effiecient and moved almost 80 items in less then 2 hours without a break. In Wellington also the service was good and all items were delieverd with no damage. I will recommend Conroy in a breathe to anyone moving cities within NZ.
The guys who moved us were awesome
THe moving was done efficiently and the guys were helpful and went the extra yard. we were pleased they were able to get our piano into our apartment.
Guys who collected and dropped off items very good hand helpful even with tricky access at the drop off.
Dissapointed with one item been dammaged and yet to hear back about this item and waht wilkl be done to resolve the issue
Katerina and Joanne were very helpful with the quote and administration matters. We were very impressed with Sloan, Siaosi, Mike, Rupe and Trevor, they worked so hard and we enjoyed their company. The packing of our possessions was excellent with no breakages. We rang to ascertain the arrival times of the packers and removal truck in Otaki, both were delayed and we would have appreciated being advised of the delays without having to follow up ourselves. At the New Plymouth end the Dispatch person rang to advise us when the truck would be arriving the next day.
The uplift was hours later than what was confirmed. I NEVER received an inventory of my things because it wasn't completed during the uplift as they ran out of stickers. the drop off was a whole day later than booked. Not even on the same day, the next day! When you are moving from one end of the country to the other, it's stressful. I had someone drive 5 hours to meet the truck at our new house on delivery day, to find out that they weren't even coming that day! It was impossible to get a in contact with anyone. No one could tell me where or why things were late. It took multiple phone calls and emails to get in contact with someone. No correspondence about the delivery and uplift being late. My large flatscreen tv was damaged in the move, it was packaged by you and moved by you. I've emailed asking how to many an insurance claim, but no response. Boxes that are were clearly labeled fragile were squashed. I'm yet to unpack everything but I'm positive there will be other things broken by the state of the boxes.
friendly staff especially the two gentleman who picked up belongings from Auckland. They were friendly, helpful, and offered some good advise on packing and how the moving works. Having them there made moving a breeze, so thank you.
