I was kept informed at all stages of the progress of the arrival of my shipment from France, and the progress through customs and quarantine. When my shipment was delivered to the storage facility, it arrived on time and the young men who unloaded it were personable, polite, quick and careful.  Thank you.

Overall, excellent service, thank you. A couple of opportunities for improvement perhaps: 

After the initial request for service I was not contacted by one person, I had to chase details and spoke to several people from various Australian locations, which made it frustrating and didn't inspire confidence. I felt there was lack of personal service as one person had not been assigned, rather different people as the process progressed.

When one person went on leave my Customs forms were unobtainable (locked in her files), so I had to resend copies from my saved info at the 11th hour. 

I self packed but smaller goods were repacked by the uplift drivers. 

Perhaps some education on what items Customs need to inspect for quarantine would be helpful as key items I'd identified, eg.vacuum cleaner, once repacked, was not noted on the manifest, resulting in query emails at Customs checkpoint. 

Perhaps transport crew/ uplift could manage their toilet breaks so they don't request to use personal toilet, immediately upon arrival (and then spend half an hour in there).

John was our "in house consultant" who did our quote. We were very impressed with John – his introduction, common sense approach and experience were so very much appreciated and able to alleviate all our worries and fears with his explanation of the whole process. He understood that there was a lot of emotion tied to the move and walked alongside us in this. We took onboard his advice and recommendations. He was such a great ambassador for Conroy.

On the day of the move, the packers were awesome and fast – we loved listening to all their banter with each other. We had around 26 cubic meters all done and loaded by 3:30pm. I thought John’s quote was too cheap compared to others, so he came back and it was pretty much the same... Did we get what we paid for? Yes, and so much more. While the price was very competitive, there was no reduction in quality of service by the admin team who answered so many more questions that arose. Shikha in the office was amazing and always the consummate professional.

As of today, our container has just cleared customs with no issues, and are yet to deliver, however I’m sure this part of their service (delivery) will be as impressive as the New Zealand end so again, John and Shikha thank you for everything. We listened to your advice.
