I've already received an initial contact about an as-yet unresolved item of damage to the house was returning to, but there are at least two other issues (missing castor wheel & damaged shelving) I'd aslo like to talk about.
"great ambassadors"
Excellent experience with the Packers and Removal workers who were friendly and personable. They were great ambassadors for the company.
"deep disatsfaction"
The low rating reflects our deep disatsfaction with your operations department. Our move was planned for a 9.00am start. This was confirmed to us by phone the day earlier. When your team did not arrive by 9.30am I phoned to enquire of your wearabouts and were advised that they would be then by 10.00am. Phoned again at 10.30am and were advised the team would be there at approx 11.00am, which happenned. The removal team apologised for the delay. The delay was poor as it required us to clear and clean the exiting property the following day.
We have no criticism regarding your removal team. They were very good. However the operation control was unacceptable as they did not have the courtesy to advise that they had placed a new job ahead of ours.
This was the third time we have used Conroys and the experience has left us with a sour taste and tainted the previous good work.

Why Maybe? Because on the second day your guys turned up over an hour late. Which was an hour I can never get back. I will say they worked hard. (even your temp guy despite him not thinking things through or really knowing what to do) But I was and am highly that they were an hour late. We had appointments set up for the day which had to be kept. The stress for me was palpable.

"disappointed"
We choose Conroys because we have used them multiple times before and felt service was good. This time however was disappointed. The two guys sent with truck were very polite but very slow. If my husband had not done a lot of lifting and loaded we would have taken all day/ night to move 400 m down the road. Our quote included bagging of mattresses but this was never done and when requested apparently they didn't have/ bring any. Then they processed to put mattress down on wet driveway when unloading from back of truck!
Our Aniline Leather couches were asked during quoting process to be completely blanketed ( previously they have been export wrapped for a move of a further distance ) as they are easily scratched. I somehow don't think that was done as there are more surface scratches discovered after team left! Especially on the loose back cushions.
We also requested that a particular antique leaded glass fronted cabinet be handled with extreme care and whilst there luckily was no damage to see it being carried by one person and manhandled into position was extremely nerve racking. Why do these guys think they are superman and attempt to carry big items of furniture on their own when there are two of them? Doesn't make the move going any faster in my opinion.
Zoe and Stephan have not as yet received their goods so really hope they are not too far away we would be pleased with any progress reports. Regards Anne, Zoe's mum in Napier
