"slow and sloppy"

Slow Move
We were disappointed with how slow the move was. One guy was great and did most of the work while his co worker sat on a chair and had “numerous breaks” when he did help out he will carry as little as 1 ironing board and lumber along. We got the impression he clearly didn’t want to be at work that day.
Kept Informed
Lynn was great at keeping us informed and Alby and Steve were very polite and friendly. Nothing seemed too much of a hassle for them.

"helpful and accommodating"
The office staff were helpful and accommodating. The moving teams always turned up on time, they were polite, presentable and respectful, and there was no damage to our new house during furniture installation. The mirrors, paintings and bed heads were professionally wrapped by Conroys and they all arrived at their destination in perfect condition.
I would recommmend Conroys to others.
Very Polite Guys
They guys were very polite and worked very hard to get the job done.
Conroys were booked for 9am.
9.40am 2 guys from Conroys arrived at gate eating morning tea. Truck was around the corner somewhere, the truck was eventually bought around and and work began.
The hireage agreement was for 3 hrs @$140 per hr (which is their minimum hire), 2 men and a truck, plus $70 booking fee. Total $490.00.
When your'e hiring for a short period I would expect Conroys men to work smart and at a reasonable pace, that directive coming from management and training.
The attitude was relaxed ,slow and sloppy. The care taken with my furniture was careless, a brand new bed was left with Black handprints over it, (I have photo's)this was in a plastic bag.
Some newly covered dining chairs had rub marks on them from the strapping? ? the feet on the chairs 5 were missing out of 30.
We have found on the floor where they removed a cabinet a black broken plastic peice that we presume has come from the cabinet. Won't be able to confirm thisuntil we remove it from the storage where it went.
Boxes weren't handled with care even though I told them most had fragile items , I went out to the truck to see a couple of boxes sliding towards the truck floor, also as they were stacked in the store room some were stacked on their side and not upright with others on top of them.
Because of the minimum storage I told them I needed them to pack the goods to get maximum in. In the end I had to direct that as they didn't seem to have a clue.
