The packers were very organised and worked hard, they left us what we needed for the night. We slept well that night knowing it was all packed up and ready to go. The movers very hard workers who went about their task happily. Our only difficulty was the timing of the removal van. It would have been helpful to have known the timimg of this well before the day of removal as we had a long journey ahead of us.

We have moved many times, internationally and domestically and have now used Conroys four times and would not hesitate using them again. For the first time I packed most of the contents but the packing of the glass fronted cupboards, pictures and mirrors by Conroys was excellent. Owen collected and delivered our contents and was a star, nothing was too much trouble. The only criticism I have this time is that some of the labels on the furniture were placed in noticeable places, usually they have been on the back or underside of furniture and some have been difficult to get off without leaving marks.

Great Service very disappointed with delivery time

Excellent service from start to finish. Really helpful, quick to respond - the move was a huge mission and your guys and gals really helped me out. The drawers in my bed took a little damage, but other than that - 10/10.
We choose Conroys because we have used them multiple times before and felt service was good. This time however was disappointed. The two guys sent with truck were very polite but very slow. If my husband had not done a lot of lifting and loaded we would have taken all day/ night to move 400 m down the road. Our quote included bagging of mattresses but this was never done and when requested apparently they didn't have/ bring any. Then they processed to put mattress down on wet driveway when unloading from back of truck!
Our Aniline Leather couches were asked during quoting process to be completely blanketed ( previously they have been export wrapped for a move of a further distance ) as they are easily scratched. I somehow don't think that was done as there are more surface scratches discovered after team left! Especially on the loose back cushions.
We also requested that a particular antique leaded glass fronted cabinet be handled with extreme care and whilst there luckily was no damage to see it being carried by one person and manhandled into position was extremely nerve racking. Why do these guys think they are superman and attempt to carry big items of furniture on their own when there are two of them? Doesn't make the move going any faster in my opinion.
