The guys that turned up to help me move house were amazing! Very professional, friendly and made the move so much easier.
This was the second time I've used Conroy and very happy both times. The only thing that is quite frustrating, is not being given a confirmed time until the day before. This makes it hard to plan.
Timing of delivery took way too long. No communication about when it is arriving or where it is at. Waited three weeks to get something sent to Dunedin. Quoter was great (Jemima?) and quick to get that part sorted. Shame about the amount of time it took to get down south.
We had a second hand villa window which we needed moving from Christchurch to Wellington. We approached several companies however all either did not respond or declined the shift.
Conroy Removals were great - communication was excellent, both by telephone and subsequent email. No job was too small, their quoting and booking process was so easy.. the item was picked up on the specified date and delivered within two days (well before the estimated timeframe).
This was a perfect outcome for us and Conroys will be my #1 "Go To" if I need any other items moved. Fully recommend them!

Nice guys to deal with; pretty quick throughout the whole process
I have used Conroy's removal services before for an international relocation, and was very happy with the service I recieved, so I had no concerns about using them again - this time for a national relocation from Wellington to Hamilton. I was only moving a queen mattress, queen bed frame + 6 dining room chairs. I initally recieved very good customer service regarding my queries around quotation, uplift and delivery. The uplift of my items went very smoothly, the movers arrived on time and gave us a one hour courtesy call before their expected ETA to ensure we were at home and ready to receive the truck.
However, I has some major issues with the delivery of my items. I recieved a call to say the removal truck would be in Hamilton between 1-3pm. They did not arrive until close to 4pm, and I recieved no phone call to inform me that they were running late. I had already rescheduled my days appointments to ensure I would be home to facilitate the delivery, and was highly disappointed the removal truck did not arrive in their specified window.
Furthermore, my bedframe was significantly damaged in the move. There are scratches on the headboard and side of the frame that I can gurantee were not there on uplift. I have photo evidence of this which I intend to send through to Conroy's in due course.
Overall, I would say my experience with Conroy's relocations has been sub par. I would not recommend them to anyone considering a national relocation.
