Highly recommend! The team were super communicative and helpful. I would definitely use again. I had no issues and they made sending my household items back simple and easy. The price for their services is super competitive!

The team were lovely and friendly, and strong and hardworking - but not really careful. Several of our pieces of furniture were damaged/scratched. Couch corners scratched, underside of couch ripped, down the back of another couch scratched, arm chair corners scratched etc. Some broken items from a box falling off the truck during loading.
The shift went very well
The only issue I had was that an already well-wrapped antique china cabinet (it had not been unpacked from our last move) was unwrapped from its shifting blankets and plastic, and a plastic bubble sheet partially put around it. I questioned this at the time and was told it was standard practice for your shifters to rewrap. Unfortunately, by the time it got to Westport, the top had been quite badly scratched because it had not been re covered, which was really frustrating - it should never have happened. Other than that, the shift went very well, your staff were great and on time. We will not unpack into the home until January 25, so have yet to see if there is anything else but from what we could see, it all looks okay.

Great company to deal
More communication and answering of messages would have been appreciated. However I get it was really busy over the Xmas NY period. Apart from that, great company to deal with in Australia & in NZ

Kyle was very pleasant when phoned regarding arrival time of the Packers. Jacob and Shane were amazing. Very courteous and worked brilliantly. Couldn't have asked for a better team!

The guys were lovely - however they seemed rushed and did not care much for my furniture.They scratched the top of my beautiful dressing table. They pulled my lounge suite apart so I'm not sure if they have wrecked the mechanism which holds it together or not. They literally shoved stuff into my storage shed - they did not pack 'up' as asked to maximise space. A friend and myself had to go back and repack. One of the guys was on a braclet - which is fine but Conroys should of asked if it was OK with me that he was there. It was OK with me but there would be some people who this could be triggering for - for example a victim of a past crime. I would not use your services again. I would explain your services as 'rip, s@&t n bust'. And no I did not take it up with Conroys as I would of received the cursory apology response and I really can't be bothered with it. To go through the hassle of proving your boys scratched the top of my dressing table was more hassle than I could be bothered with. I hope you do publish this review and not cull it.

First star for sales, great service from Joanne, second star for punctuality, movers were on time. When we checked how far they are we got an answer immediately from Ross - great communication.The packers/movers had no regard for our belongings, fragile items has clearly been marked "FRAGILE", when we started getting to unpacking, heavy big boxes were on top of small fragile marked boxes. Needless to say, we lost glasses, we lost crockery that we brought from South Africa belonging to my grandmother - covered in bubble wrap and packing paper. How hard must they have put it down for things to break when packed so neatly and covered.
My husband's small BBQ has a 90degree leg bend-and it's made of steel, how does someone manage to do that? The boxes were upside-down when we started unpacking, there was no reason for them to be unsure of the right side up, they just had to move it upright from our garage into their truck and into the new garage. We even moved all of the items and boxes from the house to the garage to make it easier for them to pack the truck.
The movers scratched a deep hole in the wall when carrying an item. They said that they will report it back to their manager and took a picture of it as well. When I phoned Ross from operations, who was my contact person, he didn't know about it and suggested I go to the website and submit a complaint there but didn't see anything really to submit. According to the movers the conpany has insurance for mistakes like that - please fix it, it's a brand new house.
It's just so dissapointing because we used Conroy for our move from SA to NZ in April 2024. For this move my manager asked me to get three quotes, you were the most expensive but he asked me which one I'm most comfortable with and it was Conroy, just to be let down like this.
Overall I was pleased with the service. Best factor was you kept me well informed, so even the delays experienced were managed well as I knew beforehand what was happening.
However with my emails, I had to follow up a few times before I got a response - see my email corrospondence for examples.
Case example delivery day I had no communication to prepare.
