Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to others40% of our shipment did not turn up with our delivery today.... we had no response from head office in auckland from 1.30pm today Australia time to understand where it all could be. Aswell, a lot of items weren't wrapped properly, in particular our high value items. Speakers and sound system at bottom of a box wrapped in paper and no bubble wrap. My zebra hide that I indiciated should have been easy to find for customs purposes was stuffed into a kitchenware box and I am laying books on it to flatten out. 4K tv worth $5000 was wrapped in one layer of wrap etc.
Hoping the rest of our shipment arrives soon.
Very professional company. It was easy to set up the job, quote was clear and terms transparent. This was a specialized piano move and the company advertised its expertise but sent an inexperienced team. Despite this the instrument was eventually transported safely after weather aborted the first attempt. Communications around all the changes were patchy and could be improved but the staff and moving team were all courteous and helpful throughout and I could get through to them when needed. Would use Conroy again!

Overall service was good. Time from container arriving in the country to when it was delivered was longer than expected.
Delivery team were good, we possibly expected they would unpack a bit more than they did, but otherwise all good.

The 2 ladies that packed my property did an amazing job, absoloutly no damage to anything.
The pick was Ok, the 2 guys mucked around a lot. Delivery was not so good, only 1 guy so i ended up doing a lot of it. After 2 hours Hayden was told there was a guy at AWF in New Plymouth who had been waiting for ages, to save having to secure the load in the rain I went and collected him.
Overall I'm happy with the care of my property, not so much the pickup and delivery. I should add the stacking in the truck was awesome.
Excellent communication and super helpful staff. We found that the staff on both ends of the move were friendly and easy to work with. Bonus points to our packing and unpacking guys for keeping us humoured through a stressful process!
- pick up movers were told incorrect information and tried to take bed away the day before we had asked
- insurance wasn't discussed very well and was told two different things. I had to follow up to make sure insurance was in place
- drop off movers didn't have all our belongings, had to find some items including bike and mattress, still believe we are missing a box.
- several items damaged. A few in transit and others when drop off movers were unpacking (couch cut with craft knife, table cut with craft knife, couch manhandled through gate, 3 lamps broken, dresser legs broken off, pots broken, DSLR camera on bottom of heavy box getting crushed)

Furniture damaged when loaded on truck when i called the Napier office was told they call me back and didnt called again and told to speak damage control who only works 3 days a week. The Auckland deliveries left a chair on the truck and still havent delivered it. Im not very happy with the service and still havent been able to sort this out. I have used Conroys before which i have had a good level of service but not this time.
