Absolutely AAA+++ service. Your removal guys were so patient, hard out and gave it their all to shift us from Rural to Town. Even to needing an extra truck at such short notice to shift everything.. A very long day but they, Ryan and his team hung in there for us without complaining. So very appreciative of that as was so stressful.

This move did not go smoothly. There was a communication mix up at the start; I was assured that the pick up would have bags to cover my sofa and mattress but they didn't; the pick up movers arrived at 10.30 when I had been told they would arrive between 1 and 4pm, this meant I was not able to do final checks and, despite emphasizing it was a very narrow street, they brought a truck with a full size container on it and were then unable to get it on-site and had to send for a smaller van to transfer my goods to the bigger one. This led to long delays and , I believe, a fairly rough and ready packing job when the goods were repacked onto the big truck. When unpacked at the final destination, furniture fell on the movers, I had multiple breakages despite the boxes being labeled fragile, and some boxes had obviously had sharp objects pushing in to them. On the positive..the delivery was on the date promised, the movers were pleasant at both pick up and delivery and the delivery truck arrived exactly on time. After the initial confusion communication with admin was good.
The biggest item in my shipment (which wasn't larg), a large sideboard which had personal items in the drawers was never delivered. I was told it never arrived into Wellington which must have been well before the delivery date but no one notified me when it was recognised as missing.
I have talked to three different people and no one rings back to update me. I have no idea who to contact directly in order to find my piece of furniture which is a favourite piece. I am very disappointed with communication or follow-up when items go missing. How do I followup this up with some consistency.
Good friendly team of guys at both pick up and delivery, didn't fit in everything we needed to but I fully understand why due to how I had items stored.
I would highly recommend Conroy Removals Ltd to anyone, as my experience with my move from Auckland to Sydney recently was very stress-free and enjoyable due to the amazing, informative, help by Rebecca Simpson, and all staff concerned. I found them all, to be very friendly, respectful and pleasant to deal with. Lynne Swift.
The service can be improved by informing customers of an approximate time the firm will be coming. I only discovered after 3 phone calls that at 4 pm they would get to my house around 8pm. This was not satisfactory. Everything else about the process was excellent.

Would be handy if the team would take the beds apart and put them back together, as another moving company did do this for us when we came from Auckland. Other than that the team were fantastic and did a great job !
