Kyle was very pleasant when phoned regarding arrival time of the Packers. Jacob and Shane were amazing. Very courteous and worked brilliantly. Couldn't have asked for a better team!

Excellent service, communication and people!

First star for sales, great service from Joanne, second star for punctuality, movers were on time. When we checked how far they are we got an answer immediately from Ross - great communication.The packers/movers had no regard for our belongings, fragile items has clearly been marked "FRAGILE", when we started getting to unpacking, heavy big boxes were on top of small fragile marked boxes. Needless to say, we lost glasses, we lost crockery that we brought from South Africa belonging to my grandmother - covered in bubble wrap and packing paper. How hard must they have put it down for things to break when packed so neatly and covered. 

My husband's small BBQ has a 90degree leg bend-and it's made of steel, how does someone manage to do that? The boxes were upside-down when we started unpacking, there was no reason for them to be unsure of the right side up, they just had to move it upright from our garage into their truck and into the new garage. We even moved all of the items and boxes from the house to the garage to make it easier for them to pack the truck.

The movers scratched a deep hole in the wall when carrying an item. They said that they will report it back to their manager and took a picture of it as well. When I phoned Ross from operations, who was my contact person, he didn't know about it and suggested I go to the website and submit a complaint there but didn't see anything really to submit. According to the movers the conpany has insurance for mistakes like that - please fix it, it's a brand new house.

It's just so dissapointing because we used Conroy for our move from SA to NZ in April 2024. For this move my manager asked me to get three quotes, you were the most expensive but he asked me which one I'm most comfortable with and it was Conroy, just to be let down like this.

Conroy was recommended by a friend, and I was thinking in a good service, but unfortunately, the initial moving was relatively good, but the people packing didn't take proper care of some stuff, as a result I 've received broken things in Auckland.

Then in Auckland the people who brought the furniture etc, they also leaving the boxes, etc, in places where I didn't tell them to leave, making a mess, scratching walls. 

The movers arrived at the scheduled time and worked very efficiently. Nice young guys... the supervisor was very efficient, managing the uptake of items and the loader in the truck was extremely adept at the loading and positioning of the items.

Issues:

* We did have a glass desk top break... this wasn't an issue as it was a second office desk and was a top I don't use (it was a tow tier desk).

* An inside door was scratched with the third mover, who I think needed further training. He was very strong, but appeared not to have had much experience in moving heavy items without banging into things in the house.

* Delivery on Friday was very efficient and done quickly. They were very helpful in ensuring items went to the right part of the house and garage.

* The only other thing was the expectation of backing the truck down to the house. Whilst it could have backed to the property, the supervisor was concerned (rightly) that due to the steepness of the drive, the items would slide down the truck whilst loading and driving out. As a result, the movers took much longer than planned as they had to carry everything up the steep section to the truck (approx. 30 metres up a steep slope). Whilst the movers coped with this well, I felt for them, as it was a hot day. This is something your assessment person should have made clear with Operations, so they knew what to expect and have plans in place prior. We probably lost 20 minutes working out the best option.
