"The team who arrived to manage my move were excellent"
The team who arrived to manage my move were excellent. Friendly, efficient and they coped admirably with a tough 56 step hike down from my Wellington property with the contents of a three bedroomed house. The move went smoothly and the packing was very well done, right down to the individually wrapped blown lightbulb I just found!
My only feedback comment for improvement is to review the cost-effectiveness of your insurance options. I found a comparable transit policy available for $250 less than the Conroy's quoted insurance. That looks a bit like profiteering!

The crew doing the packing and moving were superb. They were very careful with all the goods to be moved. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process.

Overall an excellent service provided by Conroy Removals. Mike the team leader managed a hassle free and efficient uplift and delivery with different teams at each end. All staff were friendly and helpful and no items were damaged. I would highly recommend their services. Thanks!

"Could not fault the service"
Third time we have used Conroys; first time to pack and move parents from own home to retirement village, second time to move parents from retirement village into full time care and very recently to pack items (15 cartons) from parents home in NZ ready for shipment to Melbourne + additional items for transport to Whangarei. Could not fault the service - from initial email contact, phone conversations, paperwork requirements and on the ground contact. Friendly efficient service - very happy!!
"OK Service - not great"
OK Service - not great. In NZ getting our stuff priced and packaged was easy and efficient however took >13 weeks for it to arrive at our house in the UK. The hold up seemed to be in the UK and neither Conroys or their UK counterpart seemed able to help/speed up the process - our stuff took >2weeks to travel from Birmingham (where it was kept after more than a week at customs) to London - a massive inconvenience. There are no set terms and conditions for this eventuality and no compensation/advice of any sort, however all parties were quick to respond to emails and communicated well.

Christchurch end was fantastic!......Aussie side have communicated well, but we havent had delivery yet which is a bit longer than expected and we wish to negioate the difficult access fee of $363 (we had read and understood the terms, but we are moving from a 3 bedroomed house into a small 2 bedroomed apartment on the 8 floor and can only move in half the contents, and will stow the rest in the ground floor garage until we have more suitable accommodation)
