It was reported by the Heather at Coco Hills (final destination) in Auckland that cupboard pin claps were missing. She reported this to the crew who delivered the items. Please contact us to disscuss the matter as we had a full insurance cover paid for. Regards, Magdalena and Stewart

Since my last grumpy response I have discovered two additional problems. The carriers pointed out that a chest of drawers had pulled apart at the base, but assured me that it would be no trouble to repair. I took that to mean that they would repair it when they put it in place, but have since realised that they didn't. Also, in bringing the dog kennel up from the bottom yard they have chipped or cracked several tiles on the steps. The chips and cracks are only small, but very disapointing, as I have recently paid over $1000 to have all damaged tiles replaced and repointed.
As previously advised, I await your response on replacing the broken glass table shelf.

"Just the lack of contact"
Just the lack of contact on the days of pick up and drop of was not what you guys said would happen. Was a bit dissapointed we had to chase you up to find out when the truck was coming and it didn't even arrive when said. So we had to contact you again, not the best for a first time mover, so I would maybe use you to transport items but may not move a whole house again. The people who should up in chch were lovely a d really friendly

Positive feedback:
1. The men moved very fast so we got got everything sorted from one house to another very quickly. Thank you for that.
Negative feedback:
The men arrived later than expected ~430pm so I guess it's almost home time. Once arrived and I showed them what needed to be transfered and one of the men commented "Ah this is going to cut into my drinking time!"

"probably our worst experience of moving"
This was probably our worst experience of moving and we have moved a bit. It normally takes 2 to 3 hours to pack our house and previously been 2 storied this house was single storied. It took 8 hours for them to pack the truck. From the moment we saw the truck we knew it wasn't big enough. Conroys were not prepared to send another truck over until the driver was finished. The remainder of our property was delivered the following day. The conroys staff were great but the AWF guys they used in hamilton were hopeless and so slow. They had no idea.

Very disappointing.
Communication was poor as Conroys never got permission from me for a removal time. I had wanted to be there so that everything was uplifted and I wanted advanced warning so that I could make the hour trip from town to oversee it. Conroys simply went and picked up the boxes and some furniture without my say so.
Of course in doing this they left off the biggest item on the quoted list...the bed. Insurance was acquired to cover the very expensive bed bought for a back injury, because I cannot afford to replace the bed if it was damaged in the move.
Effectively I paid an extortionate sum for insurance and a removal job that was incomplete.
After talking to the Christchurch branch manager - who was extremely unhelpful. Conroy's refused to rectify the problem. I used Conroys 4 years ago moving from the North Island to the South Island and I didn't have a problem. Maybe it's just the Christchurch branch that has issues. We will not be recommending or using Conroys again.
