Hi,

Me and my partner got our furniture picked up from my mums address in Palmerston North and delivered to our new address in Christchurch. We have moved this furniture on 2 other occasions with insurance, but this time because we didnt have the money we decided to not get insurance because it had be fine on all the other occasions.

When our furniture arrived, my partners rimu drawers were in pieces, we are missing the lock nuts from our glass coffee table that didn't get put back when the movers moved our stuff, and also our TV cabinet is literally in pieces and snapped in half (this thing is pretty solid, so somewhere in transit to Christchurch it has either been dropped or someone has stood on it and completly naffed it beyond repair).

I have rung conroys but I have not had a phone call back yet.... still waiting. Since every other time our stuff has been moved (with insurance) and has arrived fine, it honestly feels like since we did not have insurance this time, you guys did not care about our stuff since it came back in such bad condition.

I have used Conroy Removals twice now, and have found them to be extremely efficient, courteous and the removal men have been great value!  Lots of laughs.  I will certainly use them again for my next move in a month or so.  I can highly recommend them.  Compared to other companies they were the cheapest by far!

I did not check the companies website or reviews (which are in the 90s) when choosing a removal firm but chose them based on prompt reply to my query, comprehensive info provided, Price (exceptional value $7.8k for 40ft cont to ship 4xwd and 1/2 cont 3bedroom home contents) This is door to door service ie you pack goods into cartons & bags which you provide they come to your house pack with protective wrapping (which they provide at no cost) all your furniture tvs, fridge, beds, wall unit etc and pick up your goods(at no charge to you) and take back to there depot and put in 40ft. Paperwork is basic / easy but necessary info for international shipping. This is the only time you need to complete any paperwok in both your departure and arrival country. You are informed every step of process from shipping time to arrival and custom clearance and delivery (YES delivery free of charge to your address or storage facility which they unpack/unload/and take all wrapping for you as part of there door to door service). This was such a stress free and pleasent first time experience that was totally hassle free and straight forward 10 star service received will definately use again and promote to friends .
