"Most aspects of the move were really good"
Most aspects of the move were really good. I am still unpacking the boxes and everything seems to be Ok so far. The only frustration was that the guys who loaded the truck in Auckland had had a big night and were definitely hung over. They did a good job but were very slow. Really not very professional
"quite happy With Conroy's overall service"
I was quite happy With Conroy's overall service and will definitely use them again. My fridge was damaged (dented) during the move which I'm not happy about but I could not afford the insurance.

"Good quoting and follow up prior to move"
Good quoting and follow up prior to move. Great packers, really good uplifters. Well communicated regarding transit and delivery. Unloaders OK good and friendly but appeared to be in a hurry. Some minor damage to three pieces of wooden furniture, which was covered by insurance (well to take out). Taken away by Conroys promptly for repair.
"Thank you very much (yet again) for making our shift so easy"

To whom it may concern,
I was happy with the pick-up and packaging part of the furniture relocation process from our property in Auckland, however there were a couple of items which have left me feeling less than satified with Conroy Removal's services:
- Two of the mattresses although put into plastic bags were slightly damaged by sliding/scuffing which has affected the material.
- One of the legs on the chairs that was relocated was broken during transit - the 4 legs were obviously removed after the damage but no mention was made to me regarding damage.
- At the new location for the furniture only one Conroy representative was present meaning that I had to help unload and locate furniture - this is the most dissapointing part of the experience for me as I was of the understanding that the loading/unloading of the furniture was part of the service that I had paid for!
I would appreciate a response to these items please, especially regarding the third item on the above list.
Regards,
Vaughan

Please Note: as reported to Conroy's Napier staff on moving out day (Mon 21/3/16), damage was caused when staff moved the 3 seater sofa from upstairs at 14 Outlook Terrace, Taradale. This damage is a 25cm long by 4mm deep (approx) deep gouge/scratch to the stair well interior wall that requires plastering and repainting of that interior wall to repair it. Conroy's staff member Tim took photo's of this damage. I would like to be contacted by Conroy's management as confirmation that Conroy's will pay the costs of the necessary repairs to this wall.
Additionally please note that we were advised by the Napier office of Conroys at the time of booking this move that the delivery of our furniture at Wellington would be between 8am and 9am on the Tues 22/3/16. When the truck did not arrive by 10am that day I call the Conroys dispatch office at Porirua and was told that our container of furniture had arrived from overnight, but that it couldn't be delivered until mid afternoon because they were busy with other jobs. The furniture turned up at 4pm which was a quite anoying given we had planned for the morning arrival and took a full day off work when we need not have done so. However the delivery staff from Porirua were very good and patient with us when they unloaded our furniture into storage at Welllington which was much appreciated.

"This is such good service"
Everything went as planned and the goods arrived in Devonport at the correct time which was very important to my daughter who had a few hours off. The men loaded it into a hire furniture trailer for the next part of the journey. They even lent them blankets to wrap their things in. This is such good service. Thank you
I had a twin pedestal dining table moved from Auckland to Chrstchurch. What a mess! The central extension piece of the table and two brass clips were lost, and it was only after many calls by me to both Christchurch and Auckland that it was apparant that these items never left Auckland!
Also, due to poor packing in transit or just poor handling, one of the antique pedestals was badly cracked through the base and has subsequently broken in half, which now requires professional repair. And this is due to Conroy's poor handling methods. From a legal perspective Conroys should be covering the cost of this repair!
So all in all a very poor expereince.
If you require the moving of furniture from the North Island to the South Island I would advise never using Conroys
