Very pleasant people to deal with but there was a leak in the truck overnight so some things got wet - not soaking but the colour ran on one item, and I should have been kept more up-to-date as to the estimated delivery time especially when the driver got lost.

The guys at conroys made our move seamless, they were professional and did an outstanding job. 

Firstly, the staff I dealt with were all very helpful and did all that I could reasonably have expected. However, my experience is clouded by a "late in the day" house settlement by the solicitors, resulting in a very rushed and stressful  final hour at the new house, with the truck being unloaded at a fairly frantic pace, with some assistance from me. This, of course is no reflection on Conroys or their staff. The delay was nothing to do with Conroys and the staff were helpful throughout. However, I did find it strange that this local removal was in a shipping container, rather than a purpose-built removals truck. They managed to fit most things in, but it was a very tight squeeze! Maybe shipping containers are the way removals are done these days and removals trucks are things of the past. Finally, everything arrived in very good order with only very minimal damage to one or two items, so no complaints there.

would have been very helpful if the rep that quoted the job had quoted for a truck that was big enough to get all the goods being moved in one load, instead had to pay additional and have a second truck to pick up overflow.

No complaints about the loaders, all were very conscientious and handled goods with care, no damage to any goods, top points for that aspect of the move
