"It would be great if more staff were there for delivery."
It would be great if more staff were there for delivery. On the delivery day, only 2 staff were there to unload two 20feet containers.

After unpacking everything I have found that my SKY remote and Samsung tv remote were missing.
I have been able to get another tv remote no problem but SKY have charged me $25 for a replacement remote

"Late in the delivery"
Late in the delivery, I had to call to get info on where the truck was. Also boxes marked in black marker, THIS side up / only this side up with arrows pointing this way up , was disregarded and packed how ever the driver wanted to load it. I was there at unloading and pointed this out to driver, as to have an explanation that the other person did it ?? ..also loading ramp had come loose inside truck and had come to rest on excersie bike. Causing slight bend to handle bars.
"large scale tetris abilities"
Thanks so much for your removals teams efforts with all our stuff. It was hot! Glen, Dylan & Jason did a fantastic job and were very patient with us. We would happily use conroys again and now have an insight into their large scale tetris abilities. 10/10. All the best.
"expected better treatment of my furniture"
The movers that moved me into 22 tay st said the container that was packed by movers in waipawa had packed it rough. One queen mattress had not been plastic wrapped. Antique China cabinet had a glass panel broken. Antique treddle sewing machine has a piece on the wheel missing and part of the machines tension apparatus also broken off. One of the brand new oak topped bedside cabinets has a gouge out of the top. Two pediccote tables had one leg broken off each table. The movers weren't impressed by the packing of container. Especially that one mattress hadn't been plastic wrapped. It had been raining alot here, luckily it had stopped when unpacking began.or mattress would've been soaked. The move was expensive and I had expected better treatment of my furniture etc.
"given very short notice of delivery"
We were given very short notice of delivery, 50 minutes in the first instance which we couldn't make, which we re-scheduled for the following week. This was then changed by Conroys with 24 hours’ notice. This meant I had to change my work days and meetings twice in 5 days. We had paid for an unpacking service but because only one person was sent they did not have sufficient time to unpack anything except the three largest items. Although they were careful and experienced we didn't not feel happy that one person could handle our larger items safely which meant that my husband had to help move the larger items. Whilst the poor packing of our goods back in the UK was not Conroys fault, sending only one person probably also contributed to the damage some of our furniture received due to things being dragged rather than lifted. Then to top off a bad day the driver hit and broke two driveway light and a tree on his way out. Whilst Conroys plan to pay for fixing these, I now have to spend time finding and organising replacements. Not happy.

Perhaps a bit more timely, late to arrive both ends... both teams worked really well, polite and careful and not one one breakage!

4 stars not 5 because of a delivery issue at the Whangaparoa end of the excercise. Our agreement stated Tuesday Oct 11 as the delivery date so my son who is employed in downtown Ak made his plans with work accordingly. Unfortunately the goods were not delivered until Wednesday 4 which caused him considerable inconvenience.which I believe he made known. With that in mind I have ticked communication and delivery. However my personal experience was fine.
The movers were friendly and did a good job. Paperwork was also handled well.
What could have been a little better is communicating information on progress of the shipment. I only got an automated email after asking, and also didn't get an email confirmation of the delivery appointment.
