Damaged Sofa
You man who unloaded the truck on the Tauranga end took some photos of damage to our leather 3 lounge seater and the packing of or should I say the lack of our stereo unit - just put in box on their edges (not flat) with not cushioning and/or packing inbetween - very disappointing. The main stereo unit (amp) is now are the repairers getting fixed.

Excellent communicationl; the truck arrived on time to collect furniture and effects and was safely delivered to its destination with nothing missing or broken or damaged.
"poor and unprofessional services"
Not enough staff for unload, paid for full up having to helped lifting to unload as only one guy and young lady was there to unload, also took my brand new ladder when they left, haven't heard back from anyone as yet poor and unprofessional services, got quoted and paid for 60m3 was only 45m3!

"list of damaged items is too long"
We have used New Zealand Vanlines with the Ministry of Education over the last 15 years. Once we had a damged lamp. This time with Conroys the list of damaged items is too long for this review. It is true we chose not to take out insurance as it was far too expensive on top of the move itself, but it appears that because I did not have insurance that the company intentionally ensured our belongings were dameged--a broken kickstand on my bicycle, 3 pieces of furniture with gouges taken out of them and finish chipped away, broken glass in photographs carefully packaged, broken pots that have survived 3 cross-Pacific moves, boxes opened and repacked, items in the overflow left behind for days that had necessary dietary and health supplements needed for when the first lot arrived. In both shipments the driver was initially alone and I and some friends helped do the job of off-loading that I had paid Conroys for. In addition to this and other damage, the first shipment was not itemized or labeled whereas the second shipment of the "overflow" was. I am in contact with the Nelson branch about the issues as I assess them and itemize them. You cannot use the excuse that the customer took the risk to do the packing or that I did not choose to take insurance as your treatment of our possessions was entirely unprofessional and damaging. We have a lot of contacts from my 30 years of teaching and you can be sure I will not be recommending Conroys as we are also now expected to pay for this destructive service. We are still unpacking and finding the damage done. When this is complete, I will send Nelson a final assessment of all the damage. The second truck driver has some of the detail, but he was not here as we unpacked and found more damage.
"Miscommunication"
Miscommunication must be taken into consideration. Customer calls must be picked up to clarify the situation. Priority to customer must be adopted as core subject.

A person could not get better service both in NZ & Australia as we found. They keep you up-to-date on every move at both ends packing, shipping, quarantine and delivery. Great service Conroy's Removals. Would recommend your Company to one and all.
