"lawn mower was damaged"
Second time we've used Conroys to shift furniture from ChCh to Waiheke Island. Damage done during first shift and unfortunately our lawn mower was damaged during this shift.

Could have done with a hand unloading as driver and I rushed to get it done under log book hours

Communication was a complete shambles. Staff and management need thorough training with the legal aspect of dealing with difficult family moves.
The joke being you, asking for our feed back on how our shift went with you when you let us down, when in fact we used ANOTHER company. I can say THEY were fast profficient and completely on to it.

"very professional and efficient service"
Conroys provided a very professional and efficient service right from packing our household items up in Auckland and moving us out of Auckland, to storing our household items in Napier, and delivering them to us in our new home in Hastings. I would recommend Conroys to other people who are moving.
"good value for money"
We have worked with Conroy more times than we should! The firm is consistent, efficient, good value for money and generally does exactly what it says it will do for us. Our ex-UK shipment arrived 25/12 and everything from there was most helpful. The only negative was that we did not have a dedicated Move Manager allocated and we had to nag people about what was happening from time to time. Mark was very patient with us though, thanks. Delivery and pick-up of materials was excellent with good guys all round. The firm has accomplished a generational change of managerial control very effectively in recent years, so we suspect that it's good for the forseeable future.
"waited and waited"
The service was excellent up to the day of delivery. When they said we will be delivering at 7.30 am in the morning, and I waited and waited, by this time it was 11.15 and I had to go out, so I rang ,no reply ,so I left a message, again when I got home, rang and left a message, and rang again about 4.30 and still no reply. 3 times no one came back to me, which I thought this was disgusting,bad customer service. Eventually it came ,and the delivery guy was very nice and said he was sorry for the mis-understanding, but ,it would have still been nice to have put me in the picture to say they was going to be late. Other wise it was excellent service and you kept well informed with my goods from England to New Zealand. Thank you

"Kept us informed"
Very professional in their dealings with us. Kept us informed about what was happening with our goods on a daily basis with emails and phone calls.
"The packing team were excellent"
The packing team were excellent. They worked extremely hard and were loaded and ready to go hours earlier than expected. The delivery team continued the great work. Everything unloaded well before lunch. What a great experience, we would definitely use Conroy's again. We only had 1 breakage, in 2 20ft containers. ( a small, fragile, cheap vase - not an issue).

Helpful, cheerful, careful. Worked hard.
4 hours later than the estimate for pickup, and 4 hours later than the estimate for dropoff. All of these hours were spent needlessly waiting at the removal location. I realise an exact time estimate is not realistic but I'd expect something closer to +/- 1 hour.
The actual moving part of the Conroy service was very good, the waiting was not.
