Generally Happy
We were very happy with the service from the collection point in Taupo and the delivery to our home in Auckland. It was discovered when unpacking the furniture that an antique chair had been broken due to heavy items being loaded onto it. Both the Conroy employees acknowledged this and contacted their boss to inform him. They also requested I speak with him, which I did. It was a very frosty conversation and clearly he was unimpressed that his two employees had admitted liability. We also filed an email immediately to your office. The truck took the chair back to your depot and we have not heard from anyone again. This is clearly unacceptable and I would like to know asap what has happended to the chair?

Good Value for Money
I always find Conroy to be good value for money, friendly staff and very smooth process. The only thing that went wrong this time was a piece of art work wasn't wrapped in bubble wrap and the paint was scratched which I will need to get an artist to touch up. Because the art work is on an old piece of wood, maybe the packing staff thought it wasn't valuable, however I had wrapped it in blankets indicating it was an important item as well as requesting art work be wrapped. Other than that all ok. It might pay to send the photos of the entrance way and any information regarding the address to the delivery guys as they knew nothing of what I had sent to admin. The delivery guys were excellent! All round, a good service.

No Damages
No damages.very good packing and unpacking..friendly response .Highly recommended..
Several large items left behind
Several large items left behind. Rug, metal filing cabinet and ebike which we had to deal with. We noticed damage to washing machine (dented) as being moved. We hope condition / drop off after storage is better handled.
Overall Good Job
Overall we were very happy with the service provided by Conroy. However we did think that communication could be improved a bit. For instance we received no receipt or email confirmation to indicate that payment had been received. Although we did receive a call to confirm what time the packing team would arrive, we did not receive any info regarding what time the moving team would arrive the following day, nor did we hear from anyone when they had finished. Apart from that, everything was excellent. The packing and moving teams all did an excellent job of keeping our stuff safe. Much appreciated.

Packing Wasn't Quite Up To Standard
I Would have liked to have given your company 5 stars. The service at the Auckland end especially Henry, Moses and the rest of the team who delivered at Puhoi deserve 5 Stars.... they were polite and friendly... very effiecient and respectful of our belongings. But unfortunately we were disappointed with the packing at the Perth end....it was very random...there is somebody on your team who needs a bit more training...most of the boxes were picked well and travelled intacked..but there were a few boxes where items had just been thrown in without any care. I have photos of one in particular which contained a retro standard lamp and shade (shade was destroyed as no packing applied) and all other items in the same box were just thrown in...I was quite upset also about our beautiful antique dresser which was poorly packed and the legs were destroyed.... I did expect a few breakages and would have accepted the loss if the boxes all had been carefully packed....at the end of the day if we had had insurance we could’ve replaced some items but there were items that cannot be replaced. ...and if packing had been up to standard we would not be having this conversation. Anyway thanks to the boys at the Puhoi end they were terrific.
Couple of Things to Remember
We didn't know we should have emptied water tray from fridge,, Didn't know fridge had one. & wasn't told we where ment to take tapes of washing machine sorry I think we made the boys a bit cross . We hadn't moved before.
Despite promises not to shift the big items down the narrow stairs, and use the alternative of lowering them out the window (as arranged, and why we paid for two extra people on the day) they gouged a large hole in the stair wall, tried to cover it with tape, didn't tell us, and then when the office was contacted, failed to phone the new owner and offer to fix it. As of six weeks later this still hadn't happened, much to our embarrassment.
Moving in also had its problems. One filing cabinet has been dropped and had a large dent, pushing the bottom drawer out of line so it wouldn't close. The movers must have noticed this when putting it into the office, but didn't tell us. It was unfixable because so badly damaged. We have had to buy a new one. Cheapest available $251.
We still can't file the keys to each cabinet. THey should have been taped to the side or at least in a box clearly marked.
We will have to buy two new ones (cost apparently $25 each)
Overall not a good experience
