Respectful Movers
Mover guys were nice to deal with and respectful. Not a lot of damage. Just some superficial dents in some furniture. It would have been good if more guys had turned up on the pick up day as progress was very slow for the first 3 hours until more guys arrived. Plenty of help at delivery so drop off was fast.
Great Service All Round
The Admin staff member in the Hawkes Bay was delightful given there had been a glitch between the electronic confirmation and the order being received by the admin/Ops teams, I was then transferred to the Ops person in Porirua and he was amazing (I’d offer him a job on my team in a heart beat) . The removal guys were fantastic also, what a great service all round!! This could have easily gone bad but for the excellent ‘can do will do’ attitude provided by the Ops person who took my call.

Pleasant and Efficient Communication
If it all goes as smoothly as our previous move with Conroy we will be more than satisfied. Carolyn is a lovely person to deal with - pleasant, efficient & a great communicator.

Just a couple of issues (not for publish on website). In the packing stage at Hamilton, Victoria, in October, upon unpacking this week I found that the wooden bed head and bed end had been wrapped together, with nothing between them - there had been a little bit of rubbing/ marking on the wood, but nothing major. The other issue is that somewhere in the transport phase between Hamilton, Vic and Taupo, NZ, one of the wooden dinning chairs had had it's leg snapped off. The chair was well package, it had obviously had pressure applied at some point and it snapped off - I should be able to mend it.
Finally, when the movers dropped off the furniture in Taupo on Monday, they said that you can come back to pick up all of the plastic wrap that the furniture was wrapped in - if so, would this be possible?
Once again though - thanks for a great service. Much appreciated.

No TV box
I paid for TV box and when my TV turn up at my house it only had wrapping paper around it. So I should get a refund.
Well Skilled
Noy only shifted Conroys Removers a full houslot for us, they shifted a brand new houslot our clients have comissioned with us. Everything was packed malticously in blankets from small furniture fronts to huge bench tops and whiteware. It was uplifted at our workshop in Nelson and shifted to Alexandra, even with a special weekend delivery requirement fullfilled. The team is professional, well skilled and friendly. We will use the service of Conroys Removers for all our future custom made deliveries to our clients.

1. communication is poor, the 2 people taking care of documentation don't talk to each other and ask for the same documents repeatedly rather than going through their files because "there are too many". We had emails saying our containers were ready and found out they weren't and vice versa several times. This delayed delivery about 8 weeks. Although to be fair, I do not know how much of that was delays in the sea. It seemed knowing there were delays in the sea Conroy should have been more communicative and eager to help us get our things.
2. Long delays in getting delivery aside from the above. They were missing a whole container when the guys showed up to assemble (and they werent prepared, no tools) so they wasted most of the day (parts missing) to find out the container was actually there but they didn't know where. We had to put our furniture back together ourselves because its been weeks that they were supposed to return to finish up, some of that was the holiday break but I think it's been excessively long. We still have things in crates and haven't been able to complete our insurance forms for damage which are limited in time. We have had to call repeatedly for updates for delivery which is uncomfortable.
3. Most of the guys they use are very nice and will do what they can to help but a couple of them rush through and I had to go back and straighten up their work and put in missing screws for my kids beds, (major things) etc. Some of them were very good, in particular Sanchez (not sure his name, thin guy with tattoos) was very thorough with assembly, worked hard and was very receptive/friendly, constantly asking for things to do.
If re-using boxes, better labelling/naming would help
