SEAMLESS. Thats literally the best word to describe our experience with Conroys. From the beginning to the end it was all just too easy. Your processes, updates, communication and staff were all amazing. John Rowden, Gary Harmer, Claire Alder, Charles Bryceland, Jaymee Lorenz, Karen Lindsay, Tory Daviss, Monica McKinley and the 2 delivery guys (sorry I cant remember their names!) were all friendly, professional and knowledgable and nothing was ever too hard. You came highly recommended on a number of facebook pages in Australia and New Zealand which is why we picked you guys. Keep doing what you're doing team, you can't please everyone but you sure impressed us. If we ever make the move back to Australia you will be the first people will call!

Despite a minor glitch regarding one misplaced item (which was quickly found) we would rate Conroy's very highly. This firm was recommended to us and from the outset we have had nothing but positive, friendly and helpful  communications. The initial contact satisfactorily determined the size of our shipment and this led to a clearly set out contract. Details of when the packing, shipment and receipt of our goods would take place were also clearly establish. The quote given to us was the best of the three we had sought. We were truly delighted with the way in which our goods were packed for road and sea shipment. The two men who carried out this task went to great lengths to ensure our minds were put at rest re safety of precious memorabilia; both were also very courteous and thorough. Throughout the shipment process we received frequent updates of where our possessions were and when we could reasonably expect them. It was a great relief to us to not to have to struggle our way through customs procedures as Conroy's handled this for us. Date of delivery from port to our home was easily established and coincided very closely to our planned arrival. The help given us to unpack our goods and to remove the cartons and waste materials was greatly appreciated. Overall we have the highest regard for the total process by which our shipment was made and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Conroy's to others.

The three guys who packed and collected our stuff were brilliant.  A credit to your company and deserve a pay rise. They were hard working, helpful, happy and polite.  Everything they packed was done really well. The original idea was that everything was packed into a container, and the container was delivered to our new home to be unpacked so that nothing was disturbed.  This would have been great as the packing ability of these three guys was amazing, and everything was packed into container to avoid any disturbance.  However, upon arrival at our new home the furniture was not in the container, but packed into a truck.  Somewhere during this transfer there were many nicks and dings to the furniture, broken hinges, and a few boxes broken open.  Nothing major but a real shame since it had been originally packed so well.  The young driver who delivered the furniture was good, he tried really hard but his only help was a hired man from a company in New Plymouth who was useless.  He dropped things and struggled, and was no good at all.  He did seem to have a problem with his knees and back and could not lift much, and did not seem to be the type for lifting furniture.  The young driver did most of it himself, with a little help from ourselves, although we are getting on in years and were not a great deal of help.  Would suggest your original idea of the stuff staying in the container for the whole trip would have been the good idea. However having said all this, everything happened when it was supposed to, and the little bits of damage were not major, just a shame. Once again give those three young men who collected our stuff a pay rise, they are definitely the sort of people you need to hold on to!!
