Everything went so smoothly. From the fantastic people I worked with to the actual packing up and delivery and also the very reasonable price. I was completely blown away - thank you!
We had numerous breakages and damaged items, including of items that were precious to us. This has been very upsetting. The guys in Napier that unpacked the truck were great - really impressed with them. We were messed around with the quote - not clear that insurance wasnt included, and we ended up paying way more than we expected. The communication between Sydney and Napier didnt work. We had specifically arranged for items that we knew we would need to access in storeage be packed separately and be accessible. This clearly wasnt passed into Napier and we had lots of hassles getting key items out. All-round - no - absolutely wouldnt recommend.
Great service from start to finish. Admin staff were patient and quick to respond to changes we made. Movers were excellent with helping us to pack better and talking us through what would be loaded when. Delivery was exactly on schedule and the team were fantastic with popping everything where we asked. Quick and efficient and the only thing damaged was the tiny top of one plant!
Great move. Kept us informed all the way. Staff were brilliant, but special mention the Nelson team, their driver backed all the way up our 600m windy steep access road. Would recommend their service. Thanks Derek for organising the move.
Great service by your guys; however more care could have been taken with our furnishing items. One of our lamps is broken, and of course it's the Art Deco antique one which can't be replaced. However, we can get it repaired so all is not lost, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Two items of furniture, both light coloured fabric, were also marked (dusty or dirty), and the most delicate of our plants took a bit of a beating - but it's alive. Really just more care is needed, but overall given our large consignment, everything went reasonably well.
Communication around quotes and booking timelines was a bit inconsistent.

I was really happy with the part leading up to the move and also the delivery in Auckland.
I wasn`t overly happy with the removel in Dunedin for the following reasons:
- crew of 1 employee and 1 unexperienced contracter wasn`t sufficient to have it all done safely within a day. I ended up helping not only with all the heavy lifting but also shifting boxes all day.
- employee was very stuborn and not listening to advice. (when I told him a certain wardrobe didn`t fit through the staircase, he insisted on trying; when I told him one of the legs of the table wouldn`t come off, he insisted on trying, both waisting our energy and time. when I told him it would be easier to load everything from the top access as I had already put all the boxes there, he insisted on trying to park on the very steep bottom driveway, being unsuccessful trying and in the process damaging the fence.)
- contractor was clearly unexperienced. (when I told him to secure the drawers of a desk while he was carying it, he didn`t listen - when the desk fell over, drawers opened and got seriously damaged making the desk unusable)
- I saw both standing on boxes that clearly said `fragile` on them.
I understand having a big job so late in the year on the 30th of December is hard to organise and is no joy for any worker, but it ended up a full-on day of work for me and damaged goods and fence.
The rest of the process and administration has been great however.

I can honestly say your service is excellent, from the beginning till the end. Your updates and feedback are great. The staff is friendly and helpful, and all our stuff arrived with no damages!!
