Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersFriday we had Leon and Mitch (plus a temp) do the shift for us from a lock-up in Blenheim to property (on a hill) in Picton. I’ve done PLENTY of shifts over the years, and without doubt Leon and Mitch rate as the best ever! For a start, they are friendly, personable, enjoy a joke, and they listen to instructions. Leon is not just a good packer, he’s exceptional. A good packer that keeps your valuables safe needs to be smart, and he is. But the main thing with Mitch & Leon is their attitude! 11 out of 10. It’s stressful shifting, as a slack attitude from workers ultimately ends up in damaged goods, bumps and bruises on furniture etc. That really brasses people off, especially a perfectionist like me! I could go on about their insane strength, but no-doubt they’ll read this and their heads might explode! Suffice to say I’ve NEVER seen anything like it! These guys are insanely good! Look after them!!! True company assets!

Several items were broken, including one box of china. Took over two weeks to arrive. Delays with trust making payment, which delayed pick up.
My tv has no power, there for it has been damage.
There was some confusion with the packers team over whether they were doing a full pack. However they resolved this quickly, professionally, and pleasantly, so we felt very supported.

After my initial move in March being disrupted by the sudden lockdown 2 days prior, Daniel and company from Tauranga went above and beyond for me(78yrs old) to get me relocated to Christchurc as soon as I was able to move after the lockdown.
There was confusion over delivery time, our email we received said the goods would be delivered same day, when asked about what time to expect them in Bay View the guys never said they weren't delivering that day. I finished work earlier so I could be here, they never arrived! I waited all day at home the next day for them or a call from Conroy's that didn't come until late afternoon and delivery wasn't until early evening.
i think better communication would help greatly, save a lot of waiting around.
We where disappointed with the packers at shipping orgin,
In Dubai during packing we felt the team of packers where inexperinced and rushed. What we noticed when we unpacked in NZ was many boxes with only a few items eg: 4 teacups and lots of paper in a whole tea-chest type box. Also these packers used only a few wardrobe hanger boxes and the other hanging closet clothes where simply thrown into a box including hangers. The poorly packed items caused more volume and more shipping cost to us. They could have broken down some of the furniture eg; taken the legs from the dining table taking up less continaner space.
The delivery team in NZ where efficent, friendly and helpful - putting the boxes where we asked without fuss and making a stressful day easier.
Its a shame that the team in Dubai let down this move for us. We have learnt our lesson and feel strongly about letting people know to question the movers more througly for their move.
