Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI would like to explain my feedback. As far as communication and help with Sophie and all other staff I dealt with it was outstanding however :
after finally getting unpacked there are a number of things missing
1 new bar stool still in box ( 1 of a matching pair )
1 small glass stand alone shelf unit
1 large green wheelie bin fill of gardening tools etc
1 wheelbarrow
1 ladder
1 soft bag fill of cushions and electric blanket
i had high hopes after following through on a recommendation to be so angry now. I had passed on your name and the Australian company involved in my move to be a number of Kiwis moving home including my own daughter. I am very embarrassed to now have to pass on my opologies for stealing them wrong

There was so many companies around and was a hard decision but totally pleased we went with Conroys, couldn't fault them at all. Everyone was helpful and friendly who we dealt with. Totally recommend them
All of the different people involved in our move were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Conroy's. Thanks for making our move as stress free as possible.

Paperwork, processes, procedures and clearances handled professionally with no additional worries to us.
Even though goods were in transit during the Covid-19 Lockdown, delivery of the goods were not much delayed.
I have used Conroy's services many times me before, however this time could be my last. The two moving men arrived on time, without introducing themselves by name. The removal of our household goods went without a hitch.
The delivery was appalling. They younger one of the two men was friendly but the older one was full of
attitude, unreasonable, lacked any verbal response unless pressed to do and dropped the "F BOMB" when my daughter advised him the had put some boxes in the wrong place.
They didn't take the care with our household furniture etc. They struggled with our fridge, made a small hole in the wall and a dent in the fridge. The fridge has been leaking since we moved here (it didn't before) we think the water tray underneath the fridge has gone.
There is a chip out the book case and the back panel of wall unit was knocked off.
I was really impressed with the price and all the people I dealt with, for this I have no real complaints or issues, I would definitely use you guys again and reccomend the company however was just slightly disappointed to see that some of my boxes labeled "fragile" were put at the bottom of the packing heap in the truck when the boys were unloading, I thought this was really careless. Our glass shelf from our beloved cabinet was also shattered in the process pf moving with you guys, I have not opened the wine boexes yet which I fear to have been placed at the bottom of the moving pile. I did not take out insurance with you guys because our move was small but out of interest how much would the insurance have cost me if I did? We were never offered an estimate for this and I am curious how much this would have cost me versus the price I will have to pay for a new glass shelf.

The moving people on the pickup end did a really efficient and effective move for us. The team were all very professional and amazing. Exactly what we paid for. The problem came on the delivery end. I want to firstly say the delivery guy was amazing and deserves a five-star rating personally. However, his team to help him unload our belongings did not arrive, and when he tried to contact them he had no answer. This meant my partner and I had to help him unload our belongings, and meant I was not able to have everything set up correctly, and I had to spend the next few days reorganising things as a result. We had paid for the support with unloading and setting things back up as I knew when did not have the people at the place we were moving to do this (my mother recently had had an operation, and my partner and I do not have the physical strength to move some of the items he had to in the end).
Overall, this should have been a stress-free move, but due to the delivery team not arriving, I feel like I paid for a service I did not receive. Your team was amazing and friendly, and the one delivery guy who drove the truck over was awesome but was let down significantly.
The guys were effeicent, friendly and helpful. This is the 6th move Conroys have done for us and once again they did a great job. Thanks Conroys!!
Great service, nice friendly staff and good communication :)
Moved from Perth to Gisborne NZ. Our container arrived few days before lockdown level 4 but Monica and the team in Napier kept us in the loop and as soon as we were in level 3our contents was on its way to Gisborne. Staff at both ends were great to deal with. Efficient and safe. Would use again and definitely recommend.
