I had broken plates. A chipped drawers. A stained dining chair. And dented rubbish bins.
Having done a transtasman shift several years ago with a different company we can honestly say that with Conroy the experience was supurb. From the service delivered for quotes, the packing, the very quick transport, the constant open communication to a smooth transition through customs and the final delivery. Very, very happy.

Staff were lovely, both in the office and both moving teams we met. How ever the packing of our stuff left something to be desired.
We had some kitset cupboards that were shipped down made up. numerous heavy things must have been stacked on top of them as one of the roof panels was smashed in from the top and the feet on the bottom broken.
My Wooden dresser had a gouge taken out of the wood on the top of it, not sure what was packed on top of it or if it was done during unpacking, but i would assume something was placed on top and moved during transit causing the damage.
We also noticed a couple of our storage containers (large plastic ones) we used to pack things in were placed side ways instead of upright. we had packed things specifically with heavier things in the bottom. this led to some small items to be damaged/broken.
a pedistal fan we had, instead of just being stood up right for transport was chucked up the very top of the stack of items. this lead to it being broken and now the fan will no longer stay on the base.
Excellent service.!! i was informed every step of the way. Prompt, friendly deivery service. All my goods were well packed..Price was most reasonable compared to other quotes I received. Overall Well Done Conroy Removals!
- Booking process was not clear and a lot of double up information
- 1) initial quote
- 2) phone conversation
- 3) second email of quote with different person, process was not clear
- 4) quote paid with no communication and payment was accepted. Follow up email regarding online form
- 5) online form completed with double up of information (info provide in online quote, over the phone and the. A third time via this online form) confirmation email received but no info on next step
- Text received to call operations team - easy date booked but no time provided
- i had to call office to follow up on pick up time, only one person arrive to pick up order; not enough people to carry stuff - lucky partner was home to help, if I was the only person home I would not have been able to help much
- shipment was arranged to be delivered on the Friday - as per phone confirmation , email etc at no Point was it mentioned that a delay could have been possible. I did have the option for the items to be picked up earlier in the week to ensure delivery was made by Friday. Given it was a Friday, the goods were not delivered until Monday. No communication was provided to mention the goods were delayed, I had to phone the office on Friday to see where my goods were and follow up / only to be told the goods weren't going to arrive until Monday
- I had to follow up on Monday with the regional office to ask what time my shipment would arrive, person on the phone then asked if "I wanted the goods delivered today?" I was very confused at the fact it seemed like the goods were not booked to be delivered on that day given the goods were scheduled for Friday
- when goods arrived one of the shelves on the entertainment unit was broken. Although I did not opt for insurance that particular shelve was in the middle so it would have been difficult to break that.
- positive the delivery guys were very lovely, Auckland man was lovely and the boys who delivered in Napier provided great service - loved that they took the plastic away

Absolutely amazing service. Our second time using your company and would deffinatly use your company again if we needed to move. Fantastic service and great price. Great friendly staff over the phone. Gordon and the 2 men that were with him friday/saturday were very efficient, extremely friendly and all around great people. More than 5 star service. Conroy Removals made everything straightforward for me, and the goods were shifted with good humour. Nothing was a bother and I enjoyed the experience.
The guys turned up both at pick and delivery on time and delivered the furniture safely. Very helpful
