I had fantastic service and communication from the person who came and did the quote. I was surprised at the huge difference in price between the online quote and the in person quote, several thousand difference. I was a bit shocked also to find out that my truck was being shared by another persons goods, this doesn't really reflect the almost $10,000 I paid to move from Hawkes Bay to Christchurch. Our pick up I was advised would be 8am, this then changed to 8:30 and then the truck did not arrive until 10:15 becasue it was picking up other goods. I had to call to find out how far away the truck was. This caused delay for my carpet cleaning that was booked for 2:30pm as the house was not empty. The team who did the removal were great though, as were the delivery team. I was told by the person who came to do the quote in Hawkes Bay that I should not take any furniture apart and that if the removal team needed to do so then Conroys takes responsibility for putting it back together. This was not the case, my large and extremely heavy bed frame was not put back together. I did ask one of the delivery guys but he just laughed and they said they don't do that. That left me to put it back together all by myself. I was really not impressed by this

For the price that I paid I feel that the service I received was very poor and I would not recommend Conroys to anyone becasue of that. I was left feeling really disappointed in this service which in the beginning was great.

Conroys always pick up and deliver safely - and on time. Pricing is competitive as well

Easy pleasant communication when booking.Let down by lack of communication by the dispatch person,who did not telephone me as requeated,did not telephone the person from whom the load was to be collected after initial advice it would be between 12-30 to 1.She had to make contact again as did I.The dspatch person dismissive and unhelpful.Second person was very good and rang back.

The driver was very personable and we were very happy with the delivery..Not the lack of communication on the day.More staff if dispatch person too busy or not organised enough.A call  or email the day before would help as most people try to organise their day around a given time.

The 2 Removal guys sent by Conroys to uplift our furniture we're excellent, very friendly and didn't stop until everything was loaded. 

The Initial standard of met Kat, set a high standard, however come move day, it was less than extremely poor (for which I complained, sent photos and todate no acknowledgement from management), painfully slow ( 1 guy) , full of excuses, no apologises, then had to turn up next day.

While no one was rude and the one guy doing the work was very friendly, the whole experience of packing up in a truck would have been better and more effeiciently and quickly achieved using friends and truck. For the cost, absolute rip off. Total waste of $6k.

It was ti be stored at palmerston nirth, but it wasnt. It was left in Wellington, then driven to napier on a Saturday to be returned down to Dannevirke on a Monday. Why was it not at oalmerston north as per advise. Or why wasnt i advised it was to remain in Wellington?

The delivery, by the Napier team, went well. Super nice guys and all of them worked well. They even turned up when they said they would, and were professional.  So please pass on my thanks, they were the reason you didnt get 1 star.
