We did our own packing, (which is what I am used to doing) which was fine, but we did not finish in time and it has caused quite a bit of ongoing stress. We have another 8 cbm to bring down. I think that the sales process needs to outline the benefits of having Conroys do the packing more strongly. I know it's a balance, but it would have been useful to have the discussion in more detail. I have had no breakages other than our television, the screen of which has been broken. We did not wrap this however, it was done by the Napier team and wrapped in a blanked. It looks like impact damage, so it has been inadequately protected and then badly packed into the container. I have filed an insurance claim.
I had items that were coming from Wellington to Queenstown recently. These were picked up on the 28 November and delievered on 20 December.
Jo in Wellington was awesome to deal with and kept in touch throughout the whole process. The delivery did arrve after the 7-14 business day expected timeframe but can appreciate it's a busy time of the year. The one thing that could be improved upon is clearer communication around delievery/pick up. On the Wellington end the pick up time wasn't clear so this made it harder for my mum around her work schedule as well.
As it started approaching 10-14 business days while items were in transit on route to Queenstown, I was advised I'd receive a call from the operations centre in Christchurch but this never happened, and had to keep asking what was going on instead. Day 14 rolled around and then Jo advised I should be receiving them the week after on either a Tuesday or Thursday. I only received one text the evening before the items were due to be delivered advising they would arrive the next day in the afternoon, then another text the morning of from the delivery driver to lock in drop off logistics (he was awesome by the way!). I am grateful my work allows me the flexibility to navigate uncertain timeframes but perhaps not all customers will be in the same boat. Aside from this, super reasonable rates and friendly to work with.

Nervous about timing and communication we were cautious. As seniors we found some of the digital automation overwhelming. We were honest about our reluctance and difficulties. They listened to us and understood. We were handled with caution, as were the contents of our household. Our city-to-city shift was on time and carried out with ease. We're now settled in our retirement village and can recommend the Conroy Removals crew in both Taupō and Paraparaumu. They were friendly, careful and went above and beyond. We're really glad we chose Conroy Removals.

As a newbie to moving companies, it was extremely reassuring to see our possessions were in such caring, experienced & capable hands. Michael, Gracie & Robbie delivered a fantastic service at the other end, ensuring things were set-up & in the right place. I sincerely appreciated the high level of service that I received from your team. I would definitely use Conroy again!
an absolute great crew were onsite at riccarton park. the driver paul especially, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. loved seeing him pull up in nelson as well. he is a credit to your company.
Poor communication both before and after removal of furniture, in some cases were rude to deal with. No clear communication re delivery after multiple correspondence, emails either bounced around from person to person or just ignored. 2.5 hours late on pick up date. Had to follow up multiple times for receipt of payment. Shipment picked up on the 7th of December and it is the 22nd of December today without any clarity of when our furniture will I'll be delivered. Very poor customer service. Will also be leaving a google review
