Trouble Free
Everyone I spoke to at Conroys before the move re booking and queries were really lovely and helpful, and all communication was great. Brooke, in Napier, was brilliant.
The actual move was smooth, trouble free and Huc, Mike and Ben were a pleasure to work with. They did an excellent job. A big thanks to them and the team at Conroys
Gracie was excellent. I was disappointed to do my final house inspection, to find stuff left behind ( I left before final load finished) 1 of 3 blue indoor mats, toaster, clean cutlery and plates, Lu cleaning brushes and a couple of other small items all left behind. If these were not going on the truck, I should have been advised. Also screws in hinge to white pantry cupboard door (L) top side, have parted completely with the pantry cupboard.
Some minor breakages and a bit of interesting mix in what was packed together but you were on time both ways and that was a big plus.
Highly Recommended!
Excellent customer service and service delivery. Kept me informed all the time. Items were delivered in perfect condition. Highly recommended!
We have moved international and national with Crown 4 times with absolutely no damages. We moved from Rolleston to Hamilton and have sustained multiple damages to 3 pieces of furniture, the dining table has damages to the table top because it was placed facing the container wall with one layer of moving blanket for protection, damages to the coffee table with multiple nicks to the legs and a storage unit that was wrapped in bubble wrap and literally fell apart as we removed the wrap. Linen was used as packing materials around kitchen crockery, multiple layers of paper was used to pack plastic containers which was wasteful and not necessary, this packing paper could have been used across the crockery not my linen. A priority box wasn't used, therefore we struggled to find all the bed legs and remotes etc as they weren't specifically itemised on the inventory list. The Auckland team unpacking us in Hamilton were great and commented on the really poor quality of packing when they found the furniture items damaged in the container. The overall communication needs to be improved, In Christchurch we received confirmation of packing/uplifting dates only to be told by the surveyor a week prior to packing it wouldn't be likely to the following month, however they did meet the packing date as confirmed. The communication in Auckland is good, however if settlement date is an important piece of information to have then the form should make that clear. Request Date does not mean the same as settlement date, when you haven't ever used Conroys the clients wont know that you dont unpack after midday if it conincides with settlement day. Other than that the Auckland team was great, the unpacking great were also great.
Please see text sent to Shane on 16 Aug re known problems. I will not be unpacking until after new carpet is laid in week of 28 August. I accept there can be issues when moving. My gripe is that I was not told about them, and staff need better/more training in regard to reassembly of recliner chairs.
All staff pleasant to deal with, and those with Christine and Rachel were excellent.
All Went Very Well
All went very well. The movers were very cheerful, polite and efficient. Communications before hand very clear. It would-be helpful if the forms to be filled in for insurance etc are written in larger print and so better visible.
Thank you
A Great Company To Work With!
Personal care especially through the telephone support of the move coordinator was excellent!! A great company to work with!
We were very impressed with the two men who did the removal for our friend. They were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly use Conroy's again.
