Delivery people were just fantastic, friendly and helpful!

Goods took a long time to arrive from wellington, and would have appreciated some more updates, but i think the delay was caused by ministry of agriculture. all in all, Conroy seems like an efficient company, and I would definately recommend them to others.

Was really impressed with Conroys. Scheduled pick up and delivery went without a hitch. Would highly recommend this company.

We feel that one review for the entire process isn't fair, because as with everything there are multiple people involved - some were great, other not so much.

Since this is public we won't use specific names.

• 0 stars for the (mostly automated) communication process. Customers like to communicate with a person. Emails that are signed with "Kind regards, Your Moving Partner" don't really feel personal. After signing the contract the first communication we reveiced after handover from Sales to Admin/CS was the invoice. No "Hello, I am X and I would like to introduce myself and I will be looking after you and your move". Automation is nice and cost effective, but there are still ways to make it feel personal.
• 1 star for the Auckland admin/operations person. We specifically asked for a crate for the piano, which didn't show up on moving day. While it was sorted in the end, we had to really push back hard to have the piano not just "blanketed up" in the truck. Communication wasn't great, especially with promised callbacks not happening while the moving team was standing around waiting for instructions. We needed to call in and push hard for information & our preferred solution.
• 3.5 stars for the removal team. They were friendly, quick and did their job mostly well. The only complaint we have is handling of the boxes - especially the onces with fragile stickers on them (which weren't many in our case). We saw stacks of boxes tumbling over or individual boxes falling down from the trolleys on our driveway. Generally "fragile" boxes should be on top and not having anything heavy loaded onto it. This wasn't always the case and unfortuantely resulted in a bit of breakage we discovered when we unpacked.
• 5 Stars for the Christchurch delivery team, which was nice, friendly and highly motivated. They worked well together, accomondated our requests regarding delivery time kept us up to date with what was happening when and were generally careful with everything. Everyone was happy doing their jobs.

Fantastic service both in Australia and New Zealand. Great that you kept me updated all the time !!

I would like if someone can come and pick up empty boxes and packaging

What a great team of people we had looking after us. Very friendly and efficient. You may be able to find a cheaper moving company, but you won't find a better one. Thank you.
