No Stress Move

Water leaks in Truck.
Everything went very well. Truck arrived on time for packing and delivery. Only one problem was the truck must have a leak as some goods were very wet. This included out mattress on one side, and our glass table had a blanket wrapped around it and that was soaked. There was scuff marks on the back of our couch which we managed to remove with furniture polish. Our move was from Kerikeri to Taupo which involved an overnight stay for the truck, this was certainly no problem for us as it gave us plenty of time to travel down. We had a few small breakages which did not worry us, possibly our packing error, not theirs. All in all we were pleased considering the distance and time involved. Pity about the water leak.
Disappointed
We were very dissapointed in this move - we have used Conroys on several occassions before but this time we did not think the service was that great. The movers did a reasonable move but we had damage to furniture and walls where items were banged into them and left marks. This is a rental property so we will need to repair this damage otherwise we will loose our bond. The access was not easy to the site and when I spoke to the local team I asked that he go check to see what truck would be suitable which he didnt do so it took another 2 - 3 hours to unload because of where the truck had to park.

The guys were great. Respectful of houses and furniture and very helpful and informative. So pleased we chose to use CONROY instead of doing it ourselves.

Lyn was always super responsive and helpful with dates for delivery. Ronnie (QC??) Peter and Ben did an excellent job on site, helpful, kind and careful. Great service. thankyou.

Only problem was I thought that it would arrive down same day as packed but that was really my ignorance

Overall very good experience, from quotation to storage, to final delivery. I was also kept well up-to-date about the whole shipment progress.However, there were some lack of communication between the admin team and the operations team in both Melbourne and Auckland respectively, as I found that neither of my special instructions for pick-up and drop-off were passed on to the operations team. Furthermore, I found it quite stressful when the delivery team in Auckland failed to keep me informed when they were running late (I don’t think the customer should have to keep following them up, especially if they end up being more than 2 hours late). However, once they arrived at the premise they were professional and efficient, which I appreciated.Other than some communication issues mentioned above, I’m satisfied with how everything went.

Every one was very helpful and storage at the London end has been very cheap given I couldn't take immediate posession of my goods. I haven't taken posession of my goods as yet so I can't give a full review.

The guys were efficient and friendly. The quote's team were prompt with prices. Fantastic organisation to work with, would definitely use again.
We are highly impressed with the service Conroys provided, excellent packers with attention to detail, and very impressed with the removal and move on the day. We can't speak highly enough of all the crew we dealt with.
