Just a bit of a hiccup at the beginning with the removal time.  Apart from that the removalists did a great job very happy with them.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from Conroy Removals.  The items shipped are of enormous sentimental value to me.  EVERYTHING arrived safely in Perth. The care taken with the wrapping and packing was awesome.  Thank you.  The delivery people in Perth were professional, prompt and handled my items with respect and care.  Thank you Conroy Removals for making this straight forward for me.

"We have used Conroy before when we moved up from Hastings to Auckland, hence we decided to use them for our local move 2 years later. Unfortunately that turned out to be a mistake.

Despite the fact that we asked them to be careful with some of our furniture as it was soft wood, there was damage to bed heads and table tops as well as chairs. This will need to be repaired with all the fun and games that goes with trying to match colours/finishes. The stereo speaker connector was also broken and from what I can see there is no fix for it.

When we arrived at our new home we couldn't find anything to use for cooking, pots and pans, and eating dinner plates and cutlery and it was only after some 2 days of hunting that we found them - pots and pans packed on top of fine china in boxes generically marked as 'kitchen' and 'fine china'!

The other issue that we found most frustrating was the collection of the packing afterwards and the very poor communication during the process. Although we requested it nobody told us at the time that Saturday was the usual pickup day and I had to follow up with the Auckland office, they were less than impressed with my request and let me know it. I understand that the Conroy computer system operates to contract numbers but people don't always have them to hand when moving so why can't they look it up under a name? Anyway, the Saturday was later changed to the Monday at 2.30pm at their request which was O/K except that we stayed in all afternoon on the Monday waiting for them and by 4.30pm the truck had still not arrived. Followed up with Auckland depot and finally got someone who found out what was going on (that process was a mission) with a revised time of 6.00pm - which is when they arrived - but when they did the guys were more than helpful and obviously had had a long day.

We feel that our experience with our move from Hastings was far better."

Thank you so much for the excellent service that you provided.  Starting with the lovely lady that came to the house to appraise our requirements, the excellent team of movers that packed up our belongings and the awesome guys who unloaded at the other end.  They all did an amazing job and were so helpful and took great care of us and our belongings.
