The service you provided in NZ happy no problem, good comunication the guys packed and up and lifted my stuff great, and as I had used you before when I moved to Australia and returned with no problems I was happy to use you again.
But: 2. I am still waiting to recieve my shipment here in the UK because of lack of personal comuincation with the people you use in the UK, they send me emails asking me to fill out forms for delivery which is fine but also forms I had already suppled in NZ, so I sent them off then after a week they send the same email request back and then I sent a reply will someone phone and talk to me and after two days they did when it was expland to me that the TOR1 doc I am supposed to send to HMR to get a ref number so they can ask for customs clearance, so this has wasted time and they are now hinting charging me storage while they wait for customs because no one is talking to me, so that is why I am not happy. And I would ask why I had to supply completed TOR 1 forms if you don't send the on!

Conroys did a very good job in the practical moving of the furniture.
We were however surprised at how much it cost (maybe roughly $200 per hour) , 100% of which had to be paid in advance (over $1,000.00).
There was also a mistake on a refund payment to us where we only received $260.00 and the amount to refund was supposed to be $266.50. It would be helpful to have this sorted out.
Therefore if someone asked I would say Conroys did a very good job with the actual moving but it comes at a price. That is our perception of Conroys.
Of course if I am wrong I am happy to change my views.
I did a lot of research in finding a company who I could place my trust in to move highly breakable, valuable and sentimental value pottery and artwork from my father’s estate.
I was assured that the packing would be sound and no breakages. One of my favourite pieces was smashed to bits. I knew there would be breakages as soon as I saw the flimsy cardboard boxes. There was no ‘this way up’ on any box. Fragile was written in small letters. The boxes were labeled ‘pots’!!!!!!
The driver stacked boxes on top of others. There was an absolute lack of care taken when handling the boxes and when I cried out to him to be careful he said he thought there were pits and pans inside!!!!!
This was the WORST moving experience I’ve ever had. Simple instructions in regards labelling the boxes appropriately were completely missed.
I cannot believe that such valuable antique items were labelled so carelessly and unintelligently. Just shocking.
Then when the delivery guy saw the broken bowl he suggested I unpack everything. As I did so he reefed an extremely valuable and incredibly delicate painting out of its crate and ripped the covering from it. The covering linked across the surface of the painting (which has no glass and is cracking and peeling and due for restoration) and unbelievably and only by chance didn’t flake anything off. Unbelievable that he would have the cheek to do this! I know he thought he was helping and he was a lovely lovely man but so unaware of how his actions could have caused priceless damage.
The delivery end communication was poor.
Extremely unhappy and would like a claim form for the damage.
The guys we had were very professional and friendly and would have them back anytime. Regards Leanne

Only issue is a canvas picture needed a more solid board across the front.
Very professional service, helpful and friendly. On unpacking found nothing to be damaged
or broken. Well done Conroy’s.
