Hi, I have no problems with your side of the shipping, in fact I was really plaesed with the Collection, shipping, price and communication. Unfortunately, the company (EuroGroup) who you used receive and deliver the goods to me have not been good. The member of staff that was assigned has left, and communication has all been one sided, the goods arrived into Southampton on time, but have just sat there, When I saw online that the goods had arrived into storeage I contacted them and they said it should be 7 to 10 days, that was on 21 June. despite me sending an email on 3 July requesting an update, I received nothing. Today I phoned them and was told it should come into our staorage in the next couple of days, then they would look to arrange transport to me, which would take about 2 to 3 weeks. I was not happy with this and they said they would try to push the transport department.
IF! they can deliver in 2 weeks that would mean that this has taken 17 weeks from uplift, when all along I was quoted 10-12 weeks, with over 4 weeks sat in Southampton.
So just to sum up very pleased with Conroy Nelson, Helpfull, communicative profesional service, but the agents that you have used in the UK have not been up to that standard, which is why I could not recommend to friends.

"crew were brilliant"
Thursday crew were brilliant (4 out of 5) - unwrapped the mattreses, placed all the furniture as requested and took away the rubbish. Friday crew were disappointing leaving two 58 year old women (one with a physical disability) to deal with a wrapped queen mattress and base placed on their sides with the taped openings towards the floor! And now we have to deal with the plastic rubbish.
"All up not the best experience"
The packing of our belongings on the NZ side of our move leaves a lot to be desired. Some stuff just thrown in boxes with random other stuff. Kitchen and lounge stuff together in one box . Some things that our Son made in College are damaged due to bad packing. All up not the best experience !
"Overall not a terrible experience"
Overall not a terrible experience but the customer service could've been a lot better. Once my container arrived in Auckland (I had to chase them for confirmation) it needed to be stored until further notice. When I questioned how my belongings were stored I had an email stating "container was unloaded on Friday and goods have been placed into storage." After 3 months had passed and after reading a few bad reviews regarding the storage facility I contacted them to confirm and they stated "we do not keep it in a warehouse, it is currently stored in a container, OUTSIDE." This left me very nervous about how my belongings would survive but I couldn't have it delivered to another storage facility as it would break the insurance extension contract I had with them. After a total of 8 months I had my belongings delivered and it didn't smell at all however, there was damage to a chest of drawers that I had to claim on insurance. Paying the excess to have it repaired was annoying but considering I thought there would be alot of mold damage it was bearable. I would recommend them to others but with a warning not to expect amazing service after the initial quote and payment is made.

"left a sour taste"
While overall Conroy s movers were fine , communications with Caroline Watt and relevant others was excellent the botch up between Wellington and Motueka left a sour taste . Felt sorry for emplyees when wrong container turned up . However Conroys rep this end handled the embarrassing situation extremely efficiently , and while the delay wasnt costly it was most inconvenient . A first for Conroy ?

3 Star Move
I was helping a friend move house. She has a disability and needed full support. It took the 2 young men a little while to get there heads around things but once they had, they did a good job.
"This was our first move in 28 years"
This was our first move in 28 years so there was a lot we either didn't know or had forgotten. Firstly Wellington Nicky was excellent - the boys rang as arranged and turned up as arranged. Napier not so good - I gave instructions for them to call me and to come to the first gate. I was rung the day before advising an arrival time of 9:30 - they turned up at 8:00 at the second gate. This caused a good half hour of fluffing around as the neighbours stock had to be moved and gates unlocked. The truck then had to be manoeuvred to the first gate. Stress that could have been avoided. The Napier boys did a very professional job of unloading. The bulk of our furniture had existing scrapes and scratches but we weren't too bothered by a few more. However seeing your cream leather sofa had been dragged along a hard surface was disappointing that and a seriously munted tallboy drawer had me wondering about the respect your employees paid to our furniture. On a whole the shift went well but it was spoilt by some attention to detail.
"admin was great and pick up was good but delivery was very average"
I wasn't very impressed that the truck arrived with only the driver who was very friendly. But because he was on his own I ended up helping to unpack and I think for the high price I paid to move my furniture I should not be feeling like I have to help. 3 of my boxes were so wet they fell apart including my TV. He arrived a day early and didnt ring me till 1130 that morning to say its a day early so I had to rush around and change appointments.I thought admin was great and pick up was good but delivery was very average.
We choose Conroys because we have used them multiple times before and felt service was good. This time however was disappointed. The two guys sent with truck were very polite but very slow. If my husband had not done a lot of lifting and loaded we would have taken all day/ night to move 400 m down the road. Our quote included bagging of mattresses but this was never done and when requested apparently they didn't have/ bring any. Then they processed to put mattress down on wet driveway when unloading from back of truck!
Our Aniline Leather couches were asked during quoting process to be completely blanketed ( previously they have been export wrapped for a move of a further distance ) as they are easily scratched. I somehow don't think that was done as there are more surface scratches discovered after team left! Especially on the loose back cushions.
We also requested that a particular antique leaded glass fronted cabinet be handled with extreme care and whilst there luckily was no damage to see it being carried by one person and manhandled into position was extremely nerve racking. Why do these guys think they are superman and attempt to carry big items of furniture on their own when there are two of them? Doesn't make the move going any faster in my opinion.
