Delivery timing and information not planned /last minute - also were not interested in doing a good job - just gettting unloaded - communication not as good as pick up- I was worried plastic would get left behind .

"Nice staff"
Nice staff but am glad I was there to oversee as they missed bathroom, ensuite, some bedroom furniture and only took washing machine and dryer from laundry. Good to see them reusing boxes but the labelling was confusing as had writing from other moves on the box. I kept 4 four boxes out of storage because I thought they had things I needed in but turned out only 2 were correctly labelled, the other 2 had old markings from previous use and nothing for my own. I would suggest different coloured pens or stickers for each shift to avoid confusion
"There were a few dents and bumps"
When unpacking boxes after your movers had dropped them off a lot of the items inside the boxes were covered in dust. Covered to the extent that all kitchen items had to be cleaned.
Dust was so bad that it was inside the chest freezer which had been bubbled wrapped by your movers overseas.
There were a few dents and bumps but after all the moves that my items went thru that is to be expected.
As part of the move I also moved from car. As it needed to go thru compliance I used a company that was recommended by your company. The issue that I have with my car is EAS went to pick up my car and was given an entirely different vehicle to take. Why was the incorrect vehicle released from your yard??? I guess I was lucky that it was not my car that was incorrectly released !!!

Poor communication on day of delivery
I would like to thank NIcole Pinfold for the numerous emails and comunication/updates regarding my consignment from Australia to New Zealand.
However, once the consignment reached New Zealand for delivery the level and quality of communication was poor. I was contacted by Conroy and told my delivery was on the 11th of September at 9am to 10am, however the consignment was delivered at 11.30am after numerous calls to contact Conroy deliveries the morning of the delivery to enquire an estimated time of arrival (I was told I would receive a call back and then heard from no one) - there were no updates to let me know the delivery truck was delayed and no apology for inconvienance, which was discourteous and frustrating.
Good to deal with
Paul was very good to deal with. Jarrod in Napier was also great.
Damaged Goods
The Brisbane end was good service but the Christchurch service not so good.
We had a number of expense tools on tool boxes that were damages due to the fact that the heavy tool boxes were put on thier side.
Bedside cabinet with father in laws ashes were turned up side down & our couch was broken when al the weight was put on one corner.
"Nice and cheap"
Nice and cheap, unfortunately some items were damaged beyond repair. Luckily not any thing overly expensive. Drivers were on time and friendly.

Good, but not outstanding service. I have experienced better in a previous move to Auckland with another company.
This time I felt lacked a little attention to the details, and an attitude of care and commitment to doing a great job that I'd experienced with other company.
Lack of Communication on Delivery
I arranged my shipment from the UK to NZ with Crown Relocations, UK. They later told me that Robinson's Relocation would be dealing with my shipment. At no time did I hear from Robinson's. I then began to receive e-mails from Conroy. These e-mails were informative and there were quick replies to my queeries.
I paid for a quarantine inspection as soon as I was advised that this was required, but I didn't see any evidence of this inspection when my shipment arrived.
A week after my shipment was completely cleared I had heard nothing about my delivery date so emailed Conroy Auckland (who I had been dealing with up until then). They e-mailed Conroy Nelson. I did not get a reply so phoned Conroy Nelson, but there was no reply. So I went to the office and spoke to a lady there. She eventually found out that my shipment was due into Nelson that day but the truck driver had already stopped at a motel for the night. Prior to that I didn't even know that my shipment had left Auckland.
I was told that the truck would be unloaded at 7am the next day so my delivery would be later that day. The lady called me at 8.30am to tell me that my delivery would be that afternoon and she would call me later.
I heard nothing by 3pm so called Conroy Nelson. There was no answer, so I left a message.
I heard nothing back by 3.30pm so called again. There was still no answer, so I left another message.
At 4pm, as I had still not heard from Conroy Nelson I phoned Conroy Auckland. It was a Friday and I wondered if deliveries would stop for the weekend at 5pm that day.
I then heard from Conroy Nelson. My shipment would be delivered after one other shipment due to be delivered shortly. Then I got a call that my shipment would be the first of these two shipments to be delivered.
My shipment finally arrived after 5pm after I had been waiting in all afternoon for the delivery.
The delivery driver was very good and very helpful despite him not being aware, initially, that he was booked to unpack my shipment, despite me telling the lady at Conroy Nelson and it being specified in the papwework that I completed with Crown Relocations UK.
All in all, appalling lack of communication from Cronroy Nelson. Also, as Crown Relocations UK did not pack my items properly, some of my shipment was smashed. So not a good experience.
I chose Conroy for this particular move because of previous positive experience, but on this occasion I was dissatisfied with the level of communication from the Christchurch branch office in response to my queries about a number of matters, the detail of which can be discussed separately with Conroy Movers.
The service level of household chattel packing this time was not of the same high standard as in 2014, although the two men who carried out the removal and delivery did a good job.
