Pick up wellington did not ring the day before (which they were supposed to do) was and on the day of pick up they rang 30 prior to pick up with the excuse that they overslept.
For drop off our daughter who was at the receiving end of the move had to ring several times for the ETA.
The communication with head office was alwasy very professional and correct.

Overall service was not bad. I felt that there was a bit of dishonesty around the certainty of when my goods would be collected and delivered which caused a lot of inconvenience for me. I was given set dates and told that was when my things would be collected and delivered, and then once those arrangements had been made I was told that those dates were not definite. My goods were collected a day late with little communication. If I was told from the beginning that the dates are subject to change I would have been fine with the service that was delivered, but because I was given dates I made arrangements to accommadate that which ended up being unnecessary.

the real answer to questions 2 and 3 is 'possibly'. I was very disappointed at the manpower allocated to the packing job - initially planned as one; upped to two at my insistence; but as predicted, really needed to be three. As a result, packing was not completed in the scheduled time and needed a second day, with knock on issues. This is NOT a criticism of the individuals who did the packing, who worked extremely hard and efficiently.
Multiple things were broken, leg of draws was broken- think this happened in perth when the movers were packing up furniture

Truck to small for 3 bedroom house, couldn't get all on!

Very good service at Tauranga end, Aucklandfine for initial delivery, but after three requests still waiting for empty cartons tp be picked up. Promised end of week following delivery, did not happen. Then assured by Auckland office pick up sat. Waited all day on calling had no record of pick up. Good experience let down by the failure to turn up when promised
The movers were booked in for 8am, however we received a text that they were delayed till 8:30, then later a phone call where we were told they wouldnt be there till 10am.
When they did turn up, they certainly did not seem that eager, and for the first hour or two they were just fluffing around, with generally all of them standing at the same spot, wether that was at the truck or in the house.
That said, when it came to moving things ito the new house they were more efficent, and they did display a huge amount of skill in manourvering all of the heavy items throughout the house to where we wanted them, without damaging anything.
I did make the mistake of giving them a beer each as it was a hot day, as soon as I gave it too them they all stopped work and sat down to drink it. At $180 p/h, that was an expensive beer :)
The general experience was good, nice guys and they were careful with the items. There was some damage to items from packing, nothing major but there could be some improvements for packing items in the truck that sit on wheels. Communication up to the day of the move could have been a little better as I was the one ringing to find out arrival times etc.
I was advised I would be told the day before when the moving team would arrive to uplift my furniture. I did not receive a personal call and so had to contact your company myself to get an arrival time. When I did I was given a two hour uplift window much later in the day than I had expected or wanted. The crew did not arrive until 12.15 which was after the time I had been advised. When they did arrive there was barely any communication, apart from “can you show us around”. It was unclear who was leading the team of 3. The crew took over 4.5 hours to
load the van and it was obvious they were in no hurry at all. The length of time it took meant I was late to attend my preinspection visit. To speed the move up I moved furniture myself out of rooms to make the process go faster.
The day of delivery my settlemt was delayed until after 4pm. When I was able to access my new home I advised you company who. Very luckily this time more crew were available, inc
The Driver and men were very helpfull and very polite.I was very disapointed though when all our furniture and gear did not arrive especially when the bed legs were not there .Having used you several times before this was the most inefficient and here we are one week later and still not recieved the balance of our gear which we are told is in Auckland and will eventually come up when you have a truck coming this way.I would have thought that experianced folks like you would have either packed better in the truck or sent a small vehicle up with the balance after all service is your game.We are a couple of 80 year olds so dont need this hastle ,so please tell me when we get the balance of our gear.

I've put yes but it is a qualified yes. The booking etc was easy and everything went to plan. As a person who works there needed to be more pre-warning of delivery etc. In the end it was me who had to do the pushing to get a time - and then they were over an hour late! The guys with the furniture were pleasant and generally helpful but a bit more effort to put things together e.g. entertainment unit and tv. Would have been appreciated. They were on opposite sides of the room with boxes between.
