No packing materials supplied for art work. One piece damaged.
Guys on truck not told we had a piano. Delayed move by 1-2 hours.
Chair and bookcase dropped and damaged.

Missing Items
I have used Conroy previously and had no issues hence using your servies for our most recent move.
The 3 guys who moved the furniture were pleasant and hard working, no issues here.
My problem is that towards the end of the day another team were used to go and pick up some remaining items from the old house some of which never arrived. A whole box of items, including a vintage hunting knife passed down from my father, never made it . I called trevor who was going to ask the guys from the other crew the following morning. Additionally I had a call from a member of your admin team to go through the account, I mentioned the missing items to him and he was going to investigate and come back to me. It's is now the end of the week and I have had no response from your company whatsoever - the admin team did however promptly settle the account with my VISA card.
The remaining boxes and items, including a box of glassware with 'Fragile" written alll over it, seem to have been just thrown in the garage will little if any care which resulted in some damaged property.
I understand that things do getting damaged through the moving process and can accept that. what really annoys me is that the account gets settled and no one now seem to be bothered about trying to locate my missing items which I still want back.
After payment things went downhill
Initial setup was easy to sort and staff were helpful, but after the money was paid communication went downhill.
I had to ring them the day before to find out what time they were coming to collect my things and I wasn't contacted the day before my belongings were being delivered for a delivery time. A bit frustrating.

Hawkes Bay dropped the ball
I had fantastic service in Auckland, but the Hawkes Bay service was terrible. The people who deal directly with the customers were absolutely shocking. The trucks were 2 hours late. No communication to let me know, and then afterwards when I asked for collection of the cardboard I was hung up on.
I then felt it was all too hard, so I didn't persevere, and just let it run it's course. Therefore the poor communication continued.
I am in a position unfortunately for you where I constantly get asked for moving services and my recommendation.
I would like to add though your Auckland team were fantastic. Wonderful service!!

Taking longer than last time
I previously used Conroy to move to NZ and was very pleased with the service. However this time I have been very disappointed with the time taken for our stuff to arrive - I had our stuff collected by Conroy in July and it will soon be December and our stuff has still not been delivered which is deeply disappointing.
Delivery team let me down
Packing was amazing. Drop off was good but then got slack as noone seemed to know which was bedroom 1 2 or 3 as labelled on boxes. Then driver reversed his truck into my brick letterbox, smashing it. Still had no response from my email as to when it will be fixed or replaced. Driver took photos.

The quote experience: Awesome!
Booking: Really easy and efficient. Loved the online system. Loved the phone call to arrange pick up and drop off times.
Day of Move: RIDICULOUS! I had booked for 10.30am pick up. I had to phone dispatch 3 times to ask where the truck was. First call i was told the truck -"shouldn't be too far away 10mins"... Second call "The truck should be there by 11.30.. 12.00pm the truck finally arrived!!! At the very least, I would have expected a phone call from someone just to say 'the truck is late' or maybe even a text that morning... (everything else you do is digital / online, so perhaps automate some communication from dispatch to send a courtesy text or better yet - just communicate!
Expected at least 2 people to pack, only 1 turned up so ending up helping with the packing, so it would not take so long. We packed 1 whole room and 12 other boxes when we paid someone to do it. They left before the job was complete, no beds were assembled. The people who packed the truck were pleasant and respectful.
