Overall the service was OK and the pople we dealt with friendly and helpful. However, the communications could have been better. I did the order online and put Monday for pickup in Wellington and Wednesday for delivery in Hastings. The pick was conformed but not the delivery. When I enquired the Wellington office said I would be contacted by Hawkes Bay office. I didn't hear anything so on Wednesday morning I rang Napier and they said yes it could be deliverd that day. About an hour later thet advised that Thursday was the delivery day for Hastings and it would be there the next day. We had arranged for someone to be at the Hastings house on Wednesdday so this was a bit inconvenient.

The only negative of this experience was the extremely slow removal of our belongings, which were all packed and stacked....and my husband helped carry to the truck. Obviously paid by the hour, rather than the job, the three packers took several breaks, including a very long lunch, and then parking up on the road for sometime at the end of the day before leaving. We have moved many times, and that was a new experience for me. They were lovely and friendly, just very slow moving!I
Team were nice and friendly. Packing and removal were easy and seamless. Online forms are great, because they make it easy to complete without having to locate a scanner/printer. A couple of items though got damaged due to the items being moved from truck to truck namely, our tv cabinet and a few house plants. Communication around removal and delivery was poor. I had to chase up with people to confirm pickup/delivery dates/times. This was disappointing given everything else was pretty good
I had very good communication with Conroy's arranging the move, very helpful and responsive. I was optimistic it would be a good move. However on the day I was disappointed with the quality of the packing. Some of it was very rough, e.g. many items were left unprotected including delicate stereo speakers and stands. Box packing was careless with odd things mixed together, e.g. glasses stacked inside each other with no paper, vacuum cleaner head and a mop were packed with clothes, no protection of the clothes. Ornaments and TV cabinet were damaged. Despite the good customer service, I couldn't recommend Conroy's packing service.
There should be a "maybe" option to the last two questions as I am not sure if I will use your company again. Excellent punctuality of packers and truck driver but not happy about the rough handling on delivery of my antique organ. I have no idea how it was treated in the truck but the packing men listened to my instructions. As I have had to put my property into storage it will be some time before I can get the organ assessed but I am expecting some damage to the 120 year old wooden rollers.
Great friendly movers with obvious experience, unfortunately still waiting on some stuff to arrive
We are a return customer based on previous service. This time was a liitle disappointing in that damage occured to the building front glass door but no-one made us aware until we were contacted the next day by an irrate building services manager!! We are now involved in a multi party discussion to try to sort this out, with talk of bonds being witheld, insurance claims etc. Looking for Conroy to take a lead and sort this out please.
Thank you to the Australian Packers and to Mark the Operations Manager ChCh for his efforts in getting our deliveries to Wanaka. A huge thank you also toe the two delivery men Robin and Hamish - our only disappointment was the delay from ChCh to Wanaka but Mark put that right in the end for us. I also had dealings with the ChCh Branch Manager who offered no solutions Mark was the person who made things happen and kept me informed - we would use Conroy again.
