Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersThe service was fine except that noone called us in advance of delivery - the delivery just turned up unexpectedly. In fact, I had emailled to check when delivery was scheduled the day before it arrived, and was told that "the Auckland depot will call the day before delivery". There was no mention that delivery was imminent. Luckily we were home at the time!
The packing ladies were great.
Upon delivery one of the delivery men dropped our new fridge off the side of the ramp. As it is such a heavy item I would have expected 2 people to move it but only 1 tried and he was shocked by the weight, hence dropping it and badly damaging it. We've also found our new cooker has had all 4 of the adjustable feet broken off.
All the boxes items have made it safe and sound but the larger, unboxed items, did not fare so well.
Good communication
Goods packed by your company damaged ie furniture items broken legs drawer pulls. Would suggest much better wrapping in the furture.
The uplift and delivery are all good. Yet the communication was horrible after the payment for removal was done. The instruction for insurance was not clear. Still waiting for the invoice for insurance 30 minutes before the truck showed up, which was one hour late than scheduled. While the Auckland branch adviced the delivery would be on Monday and an update on Friday would be given if any change, there wasn't any communication till Monday morning when I called to find out it was never Monday and it was Tuesday. And then the delivery showed up 2 hours earlier than scheduled.
I found the initial contact by your sales manager Nathan Furlong to be excellent and precise .
Communication by email was regular by Kirsty Lowthar .
The truck arrived with No Bed Plastics
And a inventory / sticker System that I should have being informed of , as it delayed the time of pick up ..having to assist with the log of inventory.
However I found it extremely difficult to obtain an answer to my questions in relation to timing of pick up ( Napier ) & delivery by Tauranga having spoken with Kyle,Greg,Matt and between these phone calls & what was discussed the delivery was 1 hour early after organising access to the Village .
I had a lot to organise to ensure my 80 yr old mother didn't have to facilitate anything..it was extremely difficult having to travel out of auckland .to arrive & assist on time and make numerous calls to Conroy's only to be passed around the company.
So my feedback would be that Administration & Operations need to ensure their communication processes are streamlined to stay connected in a professional manner with the client
The (2) men that conducted the pick up in Palmerston Nth & Delivery in Matamata worked extremely hard and communicated respectfully ..
I want to acknowledge these men as they are what made the experience easier to deal with .

Overall good but would have been better if someone had come out before job to assess what size truck was needed to move in one trip. We had to hire two trucks over two successive days to finish our move.
Very professional company. It was easy to set up the job, quote was clear and terms transparent. This was a specialized piano move and the company advertised its expertise but sent an inexperienced team. Despite this the instrument was eventually transported safely after weather aborted the first attempt. Communications around all the changes were patchy and could be improved but the staff and moving team were all courteous and helpful throughout and I could get through to them when needed. Would use Conroy again!
The 2 ladies that packed my property did an amazing job, absoloutly no damage to anything.
The pick was Ok, the 2 guys mucked around a lot. Delivery was not so good, only 1 guy so i ended up doing a lot of it. After 2 hours Hayden was told there was a guy at AWF in New Plymouth who had been waiting for ages, to save having to secure the load in the rain I went and collected him.
Overall I'm happy with the care of my property, not so much the pickup and delivery. I should add the stacking in the truck was awesome.
Although the customer service was very good, the actual moving and packing of our furniture was not good at all. We had lots of damage to the furniture - tables' legs broken off, big hole in a bed base, leg of lounge suite broken off, wooden benches unstable because they were put on its sides, boxes put on its sides and not straight up.
