Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersIt would have been great if there was better communication on the arrival of the truck. We were told 8:30am and they arrived at 10:10am slightly better when returning our container. Disappointed that my dining chair were all scuffed and corners of my kids bed. The admin service was pretty good.
I would only recommend you if you fix the items you have damaged.
We have chosen Conroy Removals because of the storage and export services. However, the plan and execution to pack our items export ready, was disappointing and we still await to receive photos of our items, that they have been packed, export ready, and stowed away safely.
Sadly I would not use your services again as the moment I had paid for your services your communication and customer service dropped to nothing. I was constantly having to follow up on what was happening and when my stuff was going to be here and felt really disappointed that you don't feel it's important enough to share this information with your clients.
The people who I initially spoke to on the phone in auckland were often times quite rude and dismissive. Luckily I ended up speaking with a lovely man in the christchurch location and he promised he would find out when my items were going to be delivered and then get back to me and he did exactly that. The older gentleman who delivered my goods was also very lovely and had great people skills. Sadly his job was made a little more difficult as the auckland team who had put my stuff on the truck hadn't stickered everything properly to match up with the contents form.
Happy to have my belongings now, but upset that it took so long and that the process was never fully explained to me. Why ask people to give you a date they want their goods by and also why give an estimated time of arrival of its going to be nothing a like and with no communication about why.
Packed myself but sent packers that arrived an hour later than advised with communciation.
Overloaded our freezer top on delivery - was not packed like this when leaving site as lorry was too full. Arrived bent, stool and table damaged. Thought as professionals that my consideration would be taken.
Leaving scheduling until the night before a move can put extra stress on rhe client not knowing what is happening and when it's happening for their move.
We were very happy with the engagement process, especially sending some photos of the packages ready to go.
However because they were ready to go we wanted them picked up as soon as possible and delivered. It took a long time to get a final invoice and then when payment was made to get confirmed pickup date and time.
In order to be delivered my daughter had to arrange friends to be in the house and this was difficult. Why can't Conroy deliver after 5pm ?
So excellent except for communications. Several times I rang and emailed and got little response. Once I rang Wellington and they transferred me to Auckland and I finally got someone to answer the phone.
The service was okay, and goods arrived in good condition. But the fact that I had to tell you repeatedly that the I was the client - not my brother in England - was extremely frustrating, as well as giving me cause for concern about whether the goods would be delivered if the wronghy named person was not there to receive them!
Good customer service. Appreciated that there were a few more boxes to be transported than I had anticipated and that this was not raised as an issue. However a shelf in the fridge was damaged during transit and a dent put in fridge whilst moving the goods into the property. Not a biggie but thought it was worth noting. Local Nelson team were friendly and helpful.
