Packers were very good, helpful and friendly. Delivery was ok but I thought valet packing meant unpacking and putting into cupboards or drawers but apparently it means unpacking onto a flat surface only. I am elderly and not in good health and didn't realize this so found it hard and tiring to put everything away in cupboards and drawers, especially in kitchen and with ornanments putting into display cabinets. This was not made clear to me when booking. Also unfortunately one piece of china that was sentimental to me as a wedding present from my grandparents was broken and it's a discontinued line so will be hard or impossible to replace.
Overall a good service. Arrived with everything except one item arriving safely from long journey around North Island.

Great guys. Working very hard.
A couple of complaints:
- Packers at departure end did not put the bed screws in an obvious place or together. They were randomly in the bottom of different boxes and rolling around in a drawer. It took a week of sleeping on the floor to find them all.
- Some things weren't wrapped at all and got damaged or completely broken: microwave, floor fan, wall clock, toastie maker, and scratched furniture.
- Other things wrapped carefully like Tupperware which wouldn't have broken.
- Guys at the destination end not able to assemble beds which was gutting.
- Difficult to get the invoice that we needed.
In saying this I would make sure next time I have the bed screws with me and I would use Conroys again for sure.

Every person I talked with from Conroy was lovely and easy to work with. However, it felt impossible to get information through to the people who needed to receive vital info. My moving enquiry was initially forgotten about, and I later had to repeatedly contact the team to get any information about when the furniture would be dropped off, by which point I already had responsibilities that conflicted with the drop off time.
I did my best to communicate that access to the drop off location would be very awkward, but when the movers showed up it was clear this information hadn't gotten through to them at all. All in all, the moving process was more fraught and stressful than it needed to be, and I'd hesitate to recommend Conroy to anyone who is busy trying to manage work/other inflexible responsibilities alongside moving.

Felt very unorganised. Household goods was delivered to wrong address, which I clearly sent numerous emails to change address. Only two guys came to packup the house and five on uplift. Very rough and in a hurry of uplifting goods. Certain boxes weren't labelled and the TV wasn't labelled RIGHT WAY UP so when we unpacked the box the TV was upside down and didn't work due to it being upside down. It damaged the motherboard and wasn't fixable. wasn't impressed as it was a $3,000 Smart TV. Just be aware if using their services to make sure every box is labelled with the correct products. And the uplifting is done to standard!!

A lot of marks on walls during removal and scratches on a wall heater. Dirty hand marks on soft furnishings on delivery. Surely there is some method to deal with dirty hands.
Very nice and friendly
The guys were very nice and friendly and arrived early. The only feedback I would give is that the sack barrows had no padding. Furniture was scraping against the bare metal. The sack barrow needs to be carpeted or padded. My bed was badly scratched and the TV cabinet has had the enamel scraped off one side from being hoisted onto the bare metal of the sack barrow frame. I can't be bothered doing the paper work to put in a claim. I just wanted you to know that the blankets need to go on top of the furniture items BEFORE they are put onto the sack barrow, not just once inside the truck. Many thanks.

Poor communication on the time our items would be collected and time they would be at our property. No prior communication that they were actually arriving a day early. We were in an important meeting when we got a call asking where we were as they were waiting at our place. They were a day early. No phone call before, no email. I mean they had plenty of hours travelling from the middle of the North Island to the South Island to give us a bit of notice. We were embarrassed that we had to leave our meeting to go home.
The young guys offloading our items did a good enough job but they should have been supervised by a more experienced employee as they were a bit rough and didn't take as much care with some box lifting and placement. They also walked gravel stones with tar in on their work boots. There's no gravel at our place.
There was no checking we were happy or a list or inventory shown either at the start or end of what they had delivered. We just had to assume they had delivered all the boxes they had numbered at the point of origin.
Overall we got what we paid for, which was a more competitive price compared with other companies. We will possibly use a different company when we move again in the future.

Overall good but had a few issues. Initially they forgot our booking to collect. When I phoned to ask (1 hour post the time booked) they could not find a record of booking. Then they found it and sent someone out quickly to collect. Howver this meant the furniture was not put into a container, instead it was loaded into a truck and therefore had to be moved again to a container later on. This involved double handling of our furniture and we now have dents/marks on a few pieces.
I'll be talking to the local branch about insurance on these peices.

The team were lovely and friendly, and strong and hardworking - but not really careful. Several of our pieces of furniture were damaged/scratched. Couch corners scratched, underside of couch ripped, down the back of another couch scratched, arm chair corners scratched etc. Some broken items from a box falling off the truck during loading.
Delivery guys were great, polite and delicate with our boxes. But now I am still waiting for the removal of the packaging and boxes. It's been nearly three weeks since I've requested this, and being told that they will call when they are in the area doesn't help when not everyone works from home and can be freely available. I would recommend operations team to be better with communication so that clients can arrange a suitable time for removal. And not wait endlessly for someone to call, as boxes do take up space, will get damp and gross if just left outside (what I was told to do if I wasn't happy to keep it in the garage).
