They arrived 2 hrs late without an apology and//or explanation 2.All packing was in slow motion - no sense of urgency and lack of organisation. 3. Substandard preparation - some items were packed without protection - loose. Whatever may be their excuse - it was painfull to observe.4. While waiting for their late arrival, i've tried to contact Napier office asking for an explanation/update without any luck. Delivery service was exactly opposite: on time (other than1 day late - stuff did not arrive from Gisborne), crew definitely swithed on, well organised - exact oppsite as Gisborne crew. I assume, the Gisborne event was an aberration. You have moved me on other occasions and I experienced no problems.
I had to keep checking with you when the shipment was arriving into NZ. I did get a couple of emails, but it wasn't regular. I expected that the delivery agents would've stayed longer and unpacked more items. They did put the beds up and put the furniture in the right rooms which was good. They were friendly, but wanted to leave after two hours only. It took two days to pack our stuff. One of the guys went to the loo and stayed there for ages on the phone, while the other two were left to unpack.
There are some breakables but your guys were only here for one when I unpacked it - a vase which is broken.
Ii used your service as we used it in 2016 and had a very good experience. Not this time round. Lack of communication was stressful, with having to chase people to ascertain times etc of the truck arriving. I was notified the day of the move. The truck was 3 hours late, making it after business hours. The guys were tired and keen to finish for the day. The truck was too small, and another truck had to be called. The loading of my furniture was hurried, understandably, and not as careful as expected.
It all arrived after being in storage. There was a small cut on the couch slip cover, and a foot missing from a vintage chair, rendering it unusable, and the runners in the bottom drawer were mangled, requiring replacement. I responded to some email regarding these issues, and haven't had one response.
I object to having to pay it all up front, then receive a service that added stress to my move..
I would not recommend .
The overall time for delivery was much longer than I expeected, but I understand that is beyond your control. The delivery guys were really helpful, polite and friendly. Would have liked to have better communication about what was happening and when

The delivery in Wellington - the guys were friendly but they were pretty rough on our gear.
We had a numbered lock put on our container for security purposes (due to have gear go missing in past moves) on arrival at destination the lock had already been removed. When i queried this I was told it was removed in the yard so a trolly could be put in with our load. The correct procedure is to open the container in front of the customer. So was pretty disappointed.
To date we have noticed a sack barrow missing from our move, but have not had a reply to our email regarding this.
Conroys were great at accommodating our move at short notice and we were really happy with the initial service and contact in the nelson office.
I would like to say that the communication and follow up from the North Island area was appaling however the South Island communication and help with my boxes whereabouts was fantastic, so moving with in the south island I would use this company but not for interisland as it whenever I phoned the customer services on the 0800 and Auckland numbers really didn't seem to care and they said they would follow up and ring you back but never did, these people really need to understand the importance of this for any business especially when offering a service that moves personal effects
Missing 2x 5kg dumbell weights - have enquired about this already and am repeating here. The delivery was a few hours off schedule.
I was told the day before that my furniture would be delivered between 10am-11am. I had to drive from Porirua to Palmerston North to meet them there, I was ready and waiting at 10am, still hadn't heard a thing by 11am. So I called the branch and was told someone would be there by 12:15pm. So yeah, wasted my time waiting around. Would have at least expected the driver to say they're running late or whatever, at least be honest rather than not communicating at all.
When booking with your firm, we were told our belongings would be delivered in 7-10 days and it ended up over 15 days, when we phoned the North Island branch to find out where our things were the response was, "we will send an email and someone will phone you today" 3 x this occured with no call back, eventually I called the South Island office and they were brilliant, full of info and a delivery date and contact and the communication was fantastic, so my recommendation would be if you are moving around the South Island these peeps are great and the communication is brilliant but from Island to Island I would not use this company again as 90% of the customer service people I spoke to seemed not to care and just give lip service with no follow up. When you are dealing with peoples whole lives in transport communication is the key.
Very polite staff that did the job. However for moving 3 bedroom with no packing involved and just dismatling and reassmebling the beds, everything else having been packed already - 10 hours was a ridiculous amount of time to take. We have moved several times with other movers who did a pack and move in much lesser time. Staff only packed 3 boxes (these were stuffed with a childs foam sofa, cushions and a shelf which did not need to be packed anyway). We chose Conroy based on recommendation but were extremtly disappointed with how much time was wasted.
Conroys were efficient and responsive. Their storage sysems and delivery were good. The admin staff are really pleasant. Unfortunately our barbeque had an accident while in their care and was damaged beyond repair.
I had great service from the agent on the phone in New Zealand. They arranged to pick up my boxes the next day and I went by the website saying 6/8 weeks. 4 months later the items were shipped. In the end we had been in the Uk for 3 weeks and had to collect the boxes ourselves to get access to our belongings. I would not recommend this process as very complicated with customs forms etc. paying duty for goods that are not new/ usually taxed. Length of time far too long.
