Having 1 person trying to move it instead of two I don't understand as these units are heavy
Our delivery from Singapore with Asian Tigers included dismantling and reassembling our furniture upon delivery. Whilst we only had 2 beds and 1 bookcase requiring assembly none of these items were assembled by the Delivery team. One bed was missing the fixings and could not be reassembled however the other bed and bookcase all fixings were available however the team left without assembly. We have since had to reassemble these items ourselves. We have moved internationally several times and have never had to reassemble our own furniture.

I have given 3 stars even though I would recommend your services. The Australian leg of our move was seamless and well organised, great communication from Justin and Janelle. Communication from Mandeep whilst our goods were in transit was great.
Once our goods arrived in Wellington, the wheels fell off. I was not contacted once by anyone at Conroys NZ unless I called first. Mandeep emailed me to say my goods had been cleared, and that someone would be in touch in 1-2 days to confirm delivery. No one called me so I called, left messages that were never returned. Eventually I spoke to a human and arranged for my goods to be delivered, but not for another week (so I had to wait an extra 10 days for my goods). I had to call again the day before delivery to confirm that my goods were actually coming, again having to call numerous times in order to speak to someone.
Unfortunately you were too busy to arrange both delivery and unpacking on the same day, so my plans to have everything done on the one day ended up having the goods dropped off into my garage at 4pm, and then myself and my kids having to unpack mattresses, bedding and some kitchen goods to survive the night. The delivery staff told me that unpackers would be here at 9am the next day, by 10am no one was here.
Following on from a very heated phone call (from me, not Conroys), things vastly improved. I had 2 unpackers on my doorstep very quickly, 2 men who helped to move heavy stuff from the garage into the house. They all worked very hard, were extremely apologetic and went out of their way to make sure everything was done. Another truck stopped by at the end of the day to collect packing materials.
I am very grateful to the staff who jumped in on the day to help get everything done, they are a credit to you. However, it was a stressful and frustrating process that given your reputation and what I paid for your services, is not what I expected.

The driver was fine and good at his job but the young guy with him needs to do his job as I had to help them to get this done as I was paying for a service which I don't think I got.
The movers themselves were really good (just a couple of minor bumps/scratches) but it was the main office that was the problem. First they call on weds to see if I have questions. My core question is 'what time are they coming on Friday' and they tell me they won't know till Thursday...so why call on weds? Then on Thursday they didn't call as promised to tell me what time they were coming, so I had to call them. They told me 8:30, but then the guys didn't show up till 9:30 and when I rang to chase them no one would answer and no one returned my call.
Over all experience and communication from Rachel in Auckland was fantastic, team that picked up my items in Auckland were awesome but none of the items were wrapped when put into the container for shipping and storage, items were damaged due to this and items did not arrive, I've communicated with Rachel to see if there is anyway they might still be at the Auckland depot before an insurance claim is lodged.
when the goods we're to be delivered I had a very uncomfortable experience with the Driver Eric, Eric made multiple advances towards me along side asking multiple personal questions about my relationship status. At the end of the unpack was confining my details for what I though was part of the process but instead was him asking me out "for a drink" This was highly uncalled for and unprofessional and generally not on especially at my home. I respectfully said no thank you but felt very cornered shaken by the experience.

The initial contact with Conroys via sales team was excellent. Interactions to organize pick up & prepare for delivery were disorganized & dismal, and I had to do A LOT of unnecessary chasing. Actual delivery was good and it looks like there was no damage, this single biggest concern for us.
we had a great experience until we found a damaged sofa when we received our goods and we were told to get the quots for repair. one can imagine when you relocate to a different country, how many things you would be going through. school, job, sorting all the registrations with Govt departments etc etc. we couldn't find a time to arrange for a repair quote and ended up accepting $550 as Claim Settlement payment. we know the cost of repair would be way more than $550. This could have managed a bit better way.
We were told that a TV box would be provided, but wasn't and the tv was damaged.
Would have been better with a friendlier team to deal with on the phone for logistics.
And unloading crew were first day on the job, no expierence and stunk of body odour.
But overall we were happy, Conroys were cheaper, and we had a successful move.
The shipping took so much longer than I was left to believe. In total it took over 3 months to ship our belongings from Melbourne to Christchurch, this is just too long to live without any belongings
Sadly not happy washing machine / dryer got dropped and now not working / would have thought 2 guys would have moved it rather than 1 trying to move it
