The guys packing the container were a bit slap dash...... resulting in damaged, breakages and missing items. The guys unpacking said it was a really bad loading job. Three nice guys unloaded but then they dropped a box containing porcelain cookware. Your service wasn't worth $6K ($7K including insurance)
Initial quoting process was respectfully managed, packing plagued by staff shortage, and change of plan for Company to take advantage of early 'truck availability' caused unnecessary stress leading to errors. Unloading well managed, staff shortage again played part in day but staff on site were awesome.
Sadly your team broke two legs on my TV entertainment unit. The young guy seemed more interested in riding my sons bike with flat tyres and swinging his scooter around in the air instead of concentrating on the job at hand. Our bed bases and mattresses weren't wrapped like the last time I used you either which was also disappointing. They seemed in a rush as the entire move was over by lunch time.
The service was overpriced and the quote ended up being incorrectly made. The movers said this was incorrectly priced as well.
We have used Conroy Removals several times and overall have been pleased with the service offered.This time everything was done with the usual efficiency. We did at times feel that the movers were a little put out with some aspects of our move which we had no control over. This meant that at times our move was handled with little grace and somewhat grudgingly. This is not to take away from the fact that the end result was achieved on time and on budget.

The boys didn't have a dolly which makes it harder and slower for the movers to move things. I would recommend getting 3 instead of 2 movers as one of the men stayed in the truck to organise while the other mover, moved stuff. Otherwise the lads were lovely and the move went well. Have used before and been impressed both times. Would definitely recommend.
The removal men themselves were awesome, but I was booked for 8.30 Saturday, Cam rung on Friday to reconfirm the booking but said they had a tiny job to do first and should be with me by 10. I asked for them to call me when they were 10 mins away as I live in a 370sqm floor and wouldn't klnow they were there - he said they didn't have phones!!!! Really? So by 12 I decided to go and do some errands and as I left the building they pulled up - much bigger job previous with 120 odd stairs. Such a waste of my time wandering about the building staying close to the intercom just in case. If I had been given a contact number or had a 10/15 minute warning I could have gone about my day.
Arrived late for pickup and labeled our boxes with another customers detail, which the team did not realise until we pointed it out to them. Both teams (packers and unpackers) were very helpful and obliging.
The contact and communication was very good , however when we received the goods delivered , there was a support break on the timber table and the cloth covering the chairs were very dusty; the delivery personel advised us that the table was in this broken state when they `picked it up ` from storage -
The 3 men who performed our move were great. They were courteous, got on with the job with no fuss, and were understanding when we asked them to uplift items they had not understood needed to go. We thought it was good there were 3 of them rather than 2, and it got even better when some reinforcements arrived a bit later. We were disappointed they did not arrive until about 1:30pm, when our booking confirmation indicated 8:00am. We had received a voicemal the day before to say it would be 11:30am, which was bad enough, and then on the morning of the move we were advised they had been delayed even further. We were extremely lucky that the purchaser was not trying to move in that afternoon, which would have been a disaster.
