"Very unfortunate move"
This second shift was not up to the standard of the first move. The young fellow was over confident and careless with our furniture, damaging two legs of a large steel table. I had to calm him down with his style of trying to lift heavy items by himself. Speed was all he knew. Very unfortunate move.
"OK Service - not great"
OK Service - not great. In NZ getting our stuff priced and packaged was easy and efficient however took >13 weeks for it to arrive at our house in the UK. The hold up seemed to be in the UK and neither Conroys or their UK counterpart seemed able to help/speed up the process - our stuff took >2weeks to travel from Birmingham (where it was kept after more than a week at customs) to London - a massive inconvenience. There are no set terms and conditions for this eventuality and no compensation/advice of any sort, however all parties were quick to respond to emails and communicated well.
"This as you can imagine was very inconvenient"
The men who did the actual move, Ryan, Jeff and Charlton were friendly, efficient and respectful with our belongings. Unfortunately the truck which was sent was too small for all our stuff so we had to ask a neighbour to bring the rest of our belongings in 2 additional trips on moving day. This as you can imagine was very inconvenient. If we use Conroys in the future, I would make sure someone came round to see the house and furniture before the move in order to assess which truck would be suitable. This option was not given to me when I called and feel that it was a rather large oversight by Conroys.

A few items were left at the leaving address and we had to go and get them ourselves after we realised they were missing.
i.e bedding from main bedroom, vacum cleaner from hall cupboard

I've used Conroys on 8 occasions. Great friendly and helpful drivers. Office staff could use some upskilling though
"Dress code could be more professional"
Was rung twice to remind me our removal was at 8am so good follow up however truck came at 8.27am No phone call to say they would be late. ?? Dress code could be more professional and maybe not drinking cans of drink on job. However on my next move 3/9 I found Justin and hux to be very professional, fast and efficient.!! Job well done Thanks

We were happy with the packers who came around and packed into boxes.
The guys who picked up/dropped off everything was great.
However quite a few boxes were wet and mouldy from water leaking into the container.
This has damaged a dresser and we'd like information on how to make a claim for this.

"A shame, because the people were all great"
The people that we dealt with throughout, ie on the phone and especially the delivery people, were awesome to deal with. Super-friendly, but unfortunately we had a few items quite badly damaged, as well as damage to the walls of the house that we moved into. A shame, because the people were all great.
"I am not happy"

When we were loading the furniture a White cabinet was mentioned as being too heavy by the Driver. I offered to remove the items and re-pack in a box. This was declined by the driver who was amused at others having to lift it. The cabinet arrived in pieces. Now I notice my High densityTV has marks on the screen and is refusing to go. It was packed in its original packing.
As I packed and insured myself I shall deal with the situation. However I am not happy.
"This is a mixed review"
This is a mixed review. The packers were very good, effiecient and pleasant. The removal men were good during the loading, although distracted by The Arnold Hall who wanted to talk to them....he is 82 with loads of memorabilia in his garage. The unloading was slooow, the men stopped far too much to talk to one another or us. One was leaving so he did not seem to mind about anything. Two of the guys had no time for the current local company management, they liked the previous manager as he knew what he was talking about and treated them far better.. They did not damage anything but finding items in the various boxes became difficult as some were used several times and the previous lists written on the side, were not removed. This meant that some boxes were in the wrong room and some items have not been found as yet. As they were leaving some of the boxes packed and stacked in the garage for the 5 month stay, this defeated the idea as some had to be found and unpacked to check the contents. I pushed very hard to get Conroy this contract and was disappointed. although they did not damage anything, which was good.
"disconnect between the quotation process and the actual moving process"
I found the initial stages of service from your team to be very good - everyone was efficient, prompt and friendly. Very professional and good resources available prioir to moving. A survey was arranged and a visit to our house and the move site was arranged within a week. On moving day things were different. Although the team was friendly and engaging and confirmed the arrival time the day before, It took the team at least an hour longer than was estimated, they didn't communicate about the process and were not efficient at times. The van sent was bigger than we expected, it did not fit down the driveway of the moving site (which was surveyed) and this put an extra strain on your movers and my family who jumped in to help finish the job with constant trips up a hill to reach the van. It felt very rushed and we just got everyone to drop things into one room instead of a more orderly delivery. It was a disconnect between the quotation process and the actual moving process. If so much time was spent on the planning and surveying, it is a pity the job did not go smoothly or efficiently.
I found the Salesman a little pushy. The bedroom boxes were all labelled 'Master' bedroom and it made it a nightmare when we intended to only bring back half the house especially when we specifically stated we were only bringing back half the house. The walls were scuffed and a light shade dented when moving furniture back into the house. Moving staff were friendly and easy to get along with.
