"Overall great assistance with all arrangements"
Overall great assistance with all arrangements however INSURANCE was an issue with travel for 10kms & 10mins @ an exhorbant cost, this rhen was reduced, based on a phone conversation and then after further discussiuon around cubic metres further reduced. Payment made on completion didn't include insurance admin communication is lacking!

The driver that dropped off my goods was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to help me unload the goods and get them into my garage. He was professional yet friendly and genuinly seemed keen to help out in any way he could despite having many more deliveries to make that day.

apart from the mix up with pick up and delivery days all went well
"They were a good team on a very long day"
We had Tania and Brian to do the removal for us. They were great, very careful with our furniture and careful with moving things into our new house. They were a good team on a very long day.
We did ask for a small truck as we knew a big truck would not get down the long driveway to the property we were moving from. A big truck arrived which meant that everything had to be trundled down the long driveway and on the morning of the move it was raining. We had also asked for a small truck for the original move from our residence to the temporary accommodation but this did not accur. When the movers realised that they had to move all the furniture from the truck down the long drive to the house they did request more workers who did arrive in the afternoon to help.
Only 2 people to move us which meant that it took from 7.45am until 5pm to do the move. Another person or two would have meant more efficiency on the day.
We did have good communication with Conroys by e-mail regarding our storage and for information regarding the move. We were told by phone when the person was coming to do the packing the day before the move but were not told when to expect the movers on the day of the move.
Only one person to do the packing (Steven) but he was very efficient and packed all our things carefully.
There was one issue we were not happy with regarding the initial move from our residence to our temporary accommodation. We moved on a Friday and were originally booked to have the packers on the previous day. Conroys did ask if they could pack us on the Monday as they packers had no work booked for that day. We did agree with this arrangement but in retrospect we should not have agreed with this as it was very inconvenient to live with packed surroundings for 4 days.

Greetings to the Conroy brothers,
The name you have addressed this survey to is in fact the person from whom the unit was picked up from. The writer actually received the unit and paid for the transport. Your records should have told you this.
It would be helpful if you did advise the date on which the shipment was picked up. Can you not introduce a tracking system which one can look up regarding progress. As you must be aware a number of US based companies have such systems. It was share good luck that someone was home when the mower was delivered.

"I hope this was a one off"
I paid and arranged to move purchased good from vendors in NApier to m family in Auckland. The goods were picked up on time but arranging delivery was challenging with no phone calls, no updates etc. The washing machine and dryer were in auckland on Thursday 25 June, I was told it was down for delivery on MOnday 29th. My sons stayed in all day Monday Tuesday and Wednesday but no delivery or contact. I phoned on their behalf many times and was told many stories. At one point the depatcher told me he thought Totaravale was in Manurewa instead of North Shore!! It was finally delivered on Thursday lunchtime. I appreciate that the load would need to be viable to travel so far from the depot but I am really disappointed in the lack of courtesy in keeping us informed and the time wasted waiting.
I have used Conroys to move myself from Auckland to Napier, my son from Auckland to NApier and back again twice and to move clients' goods from work with no mishap - I hope this was a one off.

My Name is Chris and I was the one paying for the service from Gisbourne to Auckland. The final Destionation being my own home. Dont call me Julie, that is my untie or the pick up address.lol.

I have used Conroys for a while but have found that the centralised system to Napier does not work well at all. I just like to be able to ring the Auckland office rather than it going to Napier. I had some issues with my quotes (misunderstanding on the quote form) and when the boys turned up although the request had been sent through to Ak correctly by Caroline the Ak office was going to refuse to take one of my deliveries as they said they had no code (which they did). I had to spend considerable time sorting it out. One chap seemd very experienced but the other chap not so much as did not seem as confident in his carrying techniques although were very polite.They were caught bewtween their boss syaing they couldnt pick up my delivery and the Napier office saying they could.I had advised a heavy load but the truck had no mechanical lift making it very difficult.They said they would have to come back but I insisted on the load being attempted.I asked for a call 20 mins prior but that also did not happen (as I had said it was a pick up at my other location). I do not know how the delivery has gone yet although no news is good news.
Another aspect is the tracking of 11 items being picked up...I asked how this was going to be tracked and I did the stickering and coding myself and wrote on the back of the paperwork.I would asume stickers would be produced rather than my having to do them manually! Rather unprofessional..
So all in all a pretty average expereince to be honest.

would of put thru a 5 originally as louise was great but information about pick up time and position not passed onto driver in end so was rather messy with pick up side and delivery in end
The removable stickers are hard to remove.
Framed pictures that were to be in bubble bags then boxed weren't. Just boxed so damage occured with one and needs reframing. If we had known that bubble would not be used we would have done it ourselves. These items were specified in the quote to packed by Conroys and charged for accordingly.
