"communication and customer service was extremely poor"
The Auckland guys picking our goods up, and the team unpacking and delivering in Tauranga were excellent. However the call centre contact, communication and customer service was extremely poor. No contact was made with us after the original booking, we had to do all the chasing to call to get information. We were told a named individual was our co-ordinator but she failed to return a call when we left a message. We also called for some advice about how best to pack some items which wasn't very helpful. We didn't even know when delivery to our new home was expected until a very short time before, to know when to arrive with keys to the new location. So customer service needs to be improved considerably.
"No complaints"
Adequate shift punctual nice guys no concerns just not as good as the crew that moved us last time. No complaints though
"good at the NZ end"
Conroy service was good at the NZ end but not as good at the USA end. Conroy has a spam blocker on the email so hard to get emails through. The 3rd party handling the furniture delivery still have not delivered and seem unable to give a definitive date as to when making it hard to plan our house moving.
"certainly stretched the job out"
The two packers who came to our place the day before our shift spent more time sitting or laying in the van than they did working, they certainly stretched the job out. The next day when the furniture van arrived the three boys worked well. When our furniture arrived in Whakatane a week later the boys who unloaded our furniture were very good workers. We have just got our furniture out of storage and the only damage we have found is bedroom furniture scratched, blood on my lounge suite and my printer was stored upside down. Jan & Geoff
"lack of comunication"
The move went well lack of comunication a phone call a day or two before delivery would give me a chance to make arrangements to pick up shipment
"The carriers were rude"
The carriers were rude, dirty smoked in house and did not use their common sense. They put boxes in wrong rooms, left things in the rain. Went to toilet without asking leaving the door open and did not flush toilet or put seat down.
"communication could have been better"
communication could have been better. I had to follow up twice and didnt get a response when requested. Only two men arrived for the loading but they were great, please pass on our thanks. good communication at other end where there was a small delivery from main load. Still not sure what happens, when we need rest of load that is in storage, to be delivered.

I found your staff to be courteous and helpful and am most impressed with the care taken in packing.

Office support was excellent
Office support was excellent. Dissappointed with the minimal staffing for the large job, could have alleviated alot of waiting and work from customer if there was a reasonable crew. Unpacked ourselves as didn't feel that comfortable with standard. Not a complaint of the crew but very different from previous experience abroad. Basic level of service offered, would not recommend for international move.
3 Star Move
A brown stain was left on my light grey carpet, I presume from tilting the fridge .this mishap was not reported to me, and was discovered when I returned for a final clean up 2 days later .My low review rating was because of this incidence , which reflected on the performance of one team member only ,whose attitude the whole day was slack. The rest of the team were very good and pleasant to work with.
In regards to the drivers they were excellent but whoever loaded their truck missed 5 or so boxes so they had to come back two days later so this is why I am only giving 3/5.
