Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI had zero contact on day of pick up. Was informed the day before it would be around 3. No one turned up till 6pm. I had to phone dispatch to find out what happened with the response "I was sick this morning so I wasn't in and I'm not sure what's happening". I left a voicemail to reception at 5pm, I appreciate that the office may have been shut but no one contacted me at all to apologise and see what's happened. No communication for an ETA until the morning I got a call saying they would be on there way today. I had to call work and rearrange shifts to be able to be get my stuff. The staff were nice on pick up and drop off, that is the saving grace of this whole move.
We will be sending an email to Doug Elliot also regarding our move with Conroys & how dissapointed we were/are with the complete process & service recieved.
Delivery date of 7-14 working days was not met. No-one informed me of the delay. No-one apologized for the failure to meet their contract agreement.
On the plus side, both the pick up and delivery staff were helpful and pleasant.
I have mentioned to Cam at the Wellington branch that the delivery was on the whole not great at all . Lots of water damage from water left throughout the shopping container, damage from boxes being damaged and general disorganization.

I'm not quite sure which part of the service I am being asked to comment on. I engaged ReloUK from London and the final delivery was done by Conroy. ReloUK packed and stored the shipment before putting it on a ship. They were utterly appalling and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. My posessions were packed very badly, resulting in damage, mould and musty-smells. This will all be extremely costly to fix or replace. Communication was terrible and after 5 months in storage they demanded I pay an additional $2,000 to continue shipping my stuff - because of increased shipping costs as a result of the pandemic.
Conroy's communication was great. The delivery people were alright. Some were friendly and helpful, most just wanted to get finished and get home. It wasn't clear to me how to handle the broken, damaged and dirty boxes and items once delivered. I am still unsure what to do to get a remedy for this situation. The team who delivered jsut wanted to dump the stuff and run and I felt pressured to sign the paperwork saying it was delivered.
I am still waiting for any response from contact in April 2022. I have tried 3 times, in different ways to contact. But still no response. Very poor level of customer service if things go slightly wrong.

I undertand that items get damaged and we had our insurance but the damage to my antique mahogany table (either in transit or storage) was very extensive and was nearly $1000 to get repaired with some more work needed to repair the top still to be done. I had to pay the excess and I think Conroys should have given the extent of the damage to the table. I also understand that walls get scuffed, I had allowed for this but the scuffs and the hole that needed repair also added to the costs that were unexpected. The staff were pleasant and helpful but seemed too busy for the number of items to be moved.
The staff in Nelson were amazing, the office staff in Wellington (other than the receptionist and Jack - when I could get a hold of him) are disgusting. You have lost most of my items. Damaged most of the rest of not totally broken them. Your delivery staff were late, totally abused my trust, I am utterly disgustied with your "service". I will NOT be using you again!!! Plus I will also be advising anyone and everyone NOT to use you!!!!! I am already going through a painful separation and this is just the final straw. Your apathy is disgusting
Responsive, calm, helpful service all the way. My effects arrived safely. I'm very happy.
