My stuff broken.

Several boxes missing. Can't get the basics right. Very disappointed to lose some of our precious items.

Never again. Started breaking our belongings as they were loading the container. And everyone just passed the responsibility on with comments like "Oh they will look at it at the other end when unloading". Of course at the unloading they knew nothing about it and told us we'd have to write an email etc.
The number of items that arrived broken was extremely disheartening and shows an obvious lack of care in the job, and proves a major lack of respect for the customer.

Arrived late for pickup. Had to leave them to load belongings without my supervision. Pull my mother's dressing table apart.
Arrived late again for drop off. Two men doing job good. Took 15 minutes to reverse huge van up drive. A third player arrived, not in uniform but taking phone calls for Conroy. He just wasted time non-stop talking to working men. Came to stop several times. He didn't do much but what he did do was of no help, just ended up being told time was running out so everything was just unload and boxes everywhere. Couldn't get into kitchen. This third man was rude. I asked him to at least connect washing machine and he said he didn't have glasses, tossed cords at me and told me to do it.
I have had hand surgery and not meant to use hand. I spent all my time trying to move stuff to make room. So couldn't be in two places if at truck saying which room to put stuff, then go inside and it's everywhere.
The young man was wonderful and as helpful as he could be. The van was impractical. It didn't have a lift at back so they had to really just lower and drop things like fridge.
The worst moving experience I've ever had and I've moved a lot. First time with Conroy and last.
Lots of broken bits and pieces. Very little care taken with my belongings.

I an very disappointed with the service as many items damaged. When I called I was told "I will pass the message on" - no apology on behalf of the company. Just not good enough. Both picking items up and dropping off I was given 8.30am and the guys turned up at 7.50 and 8am.

Poor communication is an understatement. Items left our house , we had no contact to advise the status of anything until after a month and that's only because I followed up and yet it hadn't apparently left the country, when I was told if we needed it to reach by mid Jan, we needed to send it on a particular date, which we did. Surprise surprise, two months now and it has not yet arrived! The removal service was badly organised, my husband was a partial mover and yet again we were not able to get in touch with the coordinator, as I said poor communication is an understatement! We've received a feedback form but our items have not arrived, how are we expected to give you feedback for a service that is not complete! Will definitely not be using this service again. Potentially the only good thing was correspondence with an Aus agent when we had a query but NZ, Sheesh!

From start to finish was nothing but a nightmare, started with the two guys who Conroy's sent to pack our stuff, nothing short of amateurs, didn't know what they were doing as shown by how much stuff turned up damaged upon arrival at our new place in Australia . Worst of all we signed paperwork at our place as to how many boxes had been loaded onto the truck, not knowing how many boxes were loaded as we didn't load the truck but as good faith as to what they had said. We were told it should take up to 6 weeks to turn up in Australia from NZ , this turned into over 9 weeks, which in turn meant we were in our new place for 4 weeks with nothing but what we had packed in our suitcases. When our stuff finally turned up from Conroy's in Australia, which we will add did a very good job of getting our stuff to us as soon as they could, which we really appreciated, we found several items that were damaged and worse, items that had not turned up at all. My wife and I had the job of ticking off the boxes as they came of the truck and this all matched up with the paperwork, however apon unpacking our stuff we noticed several items were missing, so we contacted Conroy's in NZ to ask if there were any boxes left over unmarked from the shift, this is where the communication was very unsatisfactory, we got passed around to different people who couldn't tell us anything, but what was most annoying was we kept having to chase them up to try and get answers, finally we got and answer saying we ticked off our stuff and it matched the paperwork ( which we didn't deny ) so basically saying that they packed everything at the house and we got everything. Some of the missing stuff was put into the garage to make it easier for the movers to pack up, when the truck left ,the garage was empty, so I could park my car back in there, we also stayed at our place for a further 3 weeks after everything was packed (We ran a motel so had to carry on to the new owners took over ) so would've noticed anything left behind and contacted Conroy's.Well I'm sorry Conroy's everything had been packed, the house and shed were empty, also some stuff that went missing had sentimental value and couldn't be replaced. So the only conclusion we can make is that someone at Conroy's helped themselves to our stuff, and that Conroy's NZ couldn't care less. We are the first of family and friends from NZ that have moved to Australia and will be advising our friends and family not to use Conroy's when they move over. Very poor service from a international company in NZ.

Sorry to say, I had a bad experience. My luggage has not reached yet.
This is the most appalling service that I've ever encountered. I understand how insurance works and I understand how utter incompetence works also! Even the guys who deliverded and unloaded commented "This isnt good. A tyre in someone elses storage had fallen and smashed up my things". I'm a reasonable person. I know that these things happen but not to multiple items. Not even an apology from the manager, she passed an email on to someone else to tell me.
The people who reccomend you to me are utterly disgusted along with everyone else that I have told, along with people in the trucking world. We are dairy farmers and use transport all the time! You can hide behind insurance all you like but sometimes you need to take responsibilty for your cock ups like we all do.
Absolutely disgusted.
