Firstly one TV and bracket was to be removed and then on return re-attached to the wall. I presumed it would be taken into storage, not left in our garage where the builders wanted to work and the garage leaks Fpr that I paid $219.00. I had to find my own storage as there was no room in the Motel for it. I also paid $499.00 for a full AV reconnection on our return. That didn;t happen. I was tpld th person who did the quote had left. That was not my fqult - I had paid for the service and did not receive it.The day after the packers had been and the furniture had been all uplifted we returned and the house was unlocked. When the goods were returned they put boxes marked OFFICE in a bedroom.

"I was really brassed off"
I had a very incompetent man phone me to say they could not get the dining room table out of the house. This table is smaller than the china cabinets that were shifted out of the house that day. I was really brassed off when I suggested they go back and unscrew the table top, and was told they are the experts....well if a novice customer such as myself has to suggest they unscrew the table...and this was in fact what happened...I am unsure you can call these guys experts! I also really did not need to be stressed out by a phone call telling me they couldnt move it but then no follow through to say they had been successful. I basically had to wait til they unpacked at this end to see if it had arrived. VERY POOR service the Wellington end. The Hastings end were fantastic, although I was told it would be a Friday at the earliest delivery they phoned to say they could deliver Thursday, and the 3 men who did the delivery were great, happy and cheerful and very helpful.

We paid $15,000 for a delivery on 1st June 2016 at our house in Cottenham. We were then told that we had to pay more than $1,300 additional to ReloUK to have the effects delivered on the 9th of June and we were blackmailed to pay in advance to get delivery on that date. The effects were not all delivered and we had to wait another 6 days to get the (supposedly) rest of the stuff, but we are not sure yet if everything was delivered after all.

Nothing yet arrived! No communication - nothing at all - very disappointed - having to chase independantly of conroys....

I was very dissapointed in the calibre of people who showed up to move my items, they were small in size and seem to struggle with the move, all items were moved the day prior to the garage so should have been a very easy move, i would hate to think how long it would have taken had the items been left throughout the various rooms, the pair seemed to talk often and even decided to take a 10 minite break after only 2 hours on the job, the entire move took over 5 hours it should have taken less than 3. I was grateful that your company reduced the price and i wasnt charged for 5 hours.

a terrible experience, we will be taking further action as conroys did not provide us with good service. many items damaged or broken, alot of our assets handled poorly, alot of fragile materials not wrapped, alot of furniture carried over 180 metres in the rain because head office failed to provide suitable carriage from house to truck, workers had to work late into night, we were 2 hours late so missed motel booking (no refund) not enough workers supplied - the porr experiences go on and on. head office administrators very poor communicators and give their workers very poor support. we will be taking further action obviously with complaints . we could write another 2/3 pages of very poor service and support.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Conroy Removals moving my possessions into storage for 4 weeks whilst EQC repairs were being done. On return to my home I had a number unmarked boxes which were put in various rooms and the garage. On unpacking, boxes that were for the kitchen were put upstairs in the Master bedroom , bedroom boxes found in the garage. My microwave never made it back and is still missing and my standard lamp broken. The bed legs from one of the rooms were eventually found in a box marked Garage! . Overall, my experience using Conroy was shocking. What was most disappointing was that I had used Conroy on 4 previous occasions and all went so well which is why I chose to use Conroy again. Never again!

"Unprofessional from the start"
Unprofessional from the start. Poor customer service and apalling packing. Numerous items broken, clothes ripped as high heeled shoes thrown (packing would not be an accurate description) in with delicate evening wear. Fridge freezer arrived with mould++ as no teabags used. LED TV arrived broken, unsurprisingly after being wrapped in only bubble wrap!!! Packers just threw their rubbish into our garden, again no surprise as appeared high/drunk. Was relieved to find that company used to deliver/unpack in the UK were of a different class. We feel Conroys should take pointers from them on how to provide a professional service.
"very disappointing"
A large mirror worth $400 broke in half as it was removed by holding it at bottom, it should have been a two man job. A 42 inch tv worth $500 screen was gauged, both items I asked them to take away as they were unusable no one even rang to apologise or offer compensation very disappointing.

I had a twin pedestal dining table moved from Auckland to Chrstchurch. What a mess! The central extension piece of the table and two brass clips were lost, and it was only after many calls by me to both Christchurch and Auckland that it was apparant that these items never left Auckland!
Also, due to poor packing in transit or just poor handling, one of the antique pedestals was badly cracked through the base and has subsequently broken in half, which now requires professional repair. And this is due to Conroy's poor handling methods. From a legal perspective Conroys should be covering the cost of this repair!
So all in all a very poor expereince.
If you require the moving of furniture from the North Island to the South Island I would advise never using Conroys

We are very upset over all of the damage that has been caused toour gear. We have a 4000 dollar tv that has a scratch on the screen i asked prior to loaing if it would be wrapped and was told no it was wraped in a blanket. Our out doors table has a scratch 6inches. The stainless steel microwave is scratched all over the top. Our stainless fridge is scratched. A 200 dollar rubish bin squashed at the bottom Antique chairs wet with water damage. Antique table with broken leg joint. We paid for packaging of ourgear so it wouldnt be damaged. But packers put tolls in with glass and other breakable things. Other furnature was not wraped in plastic to prevent scratches. We may not have taken out insurance with you but all damage has been created by packers not doing their job and rough handling onto trucks. Who is respossible when you create damage. Just becausewe didnt take insurance out dosent you should handle our gear with any less care. We paid 11000 for this move i am very angry. Thumbs up to the south island guys who had the care to take our gear off nicely.
