"Very disappointed"
Taken over 2 months and still not here. Pick up was badly arranged and still no definite date when we will get our shipping. Very disappointed.
"real unpleasant experience"
We had an Airfreight and a Seafreight delivered. At the arrival of the Air shipment the crew, was not aware of the required unpacking. After a couple to phone call this could be clear and the unpacked, which really annoyed them. So they didn’t handled the stuff properly, with care and showed are really unfriendly attitude.
After reconfirmation of the included unpacking service, we expected the sea shipment and underlined this need again in several call and got the reassurance that all will be good.
We have been called by the ops team at 7.30 am to confirm the delivery at the planned delivery day, but could pick up the phone. Several attempts to call back ended nowhere. The back office confirmed that our delivery in on the truck and that we should wait. After waiting the whole day, without further notice, we call the back office again and got informed that the goods have not been loaded.
After further calls and could get the confirmation of a Manger, for a Saturday delivery, which he could arrange.
The team showed up on time and was very friendly, but has again not been informed about the unpacking. They were only able to help with some boxes, before leaving. At the end we unpacked almost all of sea freight.
Overall, we have not be satisfied at all. A real unpleasant experience. The office stuff was not fully aware of the status of the goods, we coordination with the operations team appears not to work, and the delivery team didn’t not leave a good impression at all.
A really frustrating experience
"Movers were exceedingly slow"
Movers were exceedingly slow and poor communicators. They damaged multiple branches of trees at new property despite my willingness to trim the trees. The argued about the damage, failed to appologise and then refused to communicate for the remainder of the move. I was averaging three items per their one from the truck and it seemed like a sulky go slow. I expect a formal apology and a discount for the time and the damage.

Not only did we have to wait for over a week between customs clearance and your first attempt to deliver; it then took your guys several days to finally keep to the agreed delivery window, standing us up multiple times, while forcing us to stay home for two full days not knowing whether you'd actually show up, or not. In the end, we paid a premium for air freight from Germany and so had our stuff in Wellington within 4 days. Biosecurity and customs took a day. And then the boxes stayed under your custody for 13 days. It really made our life hard.
"Not a pleasant experience"
Where do I even start. Not a pleasant experience with both Auckland and Wellington branch. I paid extra for "professional packing" which I believe I would have done a better job myself. My bags and clothes were shoved into the box and ended up coming all wrinkled and bent. Lucky for me I had no breakables. I was told to be expecting a call from the Auckland branch the night before the lift to confirm the time which didn't happen so I had to chase them up to arrange for time. Upon requesting for quotes via email, through phone calls and even in person I had asked the team multiple times and received confirmation for the delivery to be arranged before 11am. I called them again at 9am on the day of delivery just to be told from the Wellington branch that these are a promise made by Auckland team so they cannot help me out until the same afternoon. I had to cancel all arrangements and wait. I have already sent an email of complaint which I still haven't heard back from and I would very much like a formal apology from your management team for my fustration and inconvenience I had to put up with using your removal service.
Won't Use Again
i have always been a customer with conroy.at first the pick up was 4 hours late i had to keep ringing to ask when theyll com to pick up things.secondly most of my furnitures are damaged and unfortunately i cant do any thing about it because i didnt pay the insurance.my one big bag of new clothes are lost and am still waiting for an anwer.when the guys came to drop our furnitures the guy dropped my drawer and broke the corner because he was trying to bring heaps of things at the same time. i used this company always when i moved and this is the first time i experienced such a bad service.at the end i would just say that ill never use this company again.
Made Me Wait for Almost a Month
The service was terrible making me wait for almost a month for my stuff to be delivered to my house from arriving in new zealand. After being told its all arrived and i will be notified when delivery to waitng another 3 weeks and many emails and phone calls to follow up just to be past on to someone else. Also being told delivery in 2 days to not hearing any more to be delayed. Then day of arrival ended up being 4 hours late and no point of contact to notify me. I will not be using conroy New Zealand or recomending because it was absolutely disappointing after moving your whole life to another country it delayed our start work date and having to take 2 days off work because they were not organised.
Very Very Angry
I am very very angry about this removal company. I still didn't get my 11 parcels since the beginning of November 2017. The lady at the desk at that time never sent me any receipt for my payment online nor advise me of the shipping of my parcels. Since I've paid, she just remained silent then she transfered me to another person because I was starting complaining. That second person told me the parcels were going to be shipped on the 17th of November and would arrive on the 22nd of December but still didn't send me any receipt for my payment. We are the 14th of January 2018 and I still have NO RESPONSE from them. The worst of all is that I am receiving a "Conroy removals feedback request" for something I've never receive. My clearing agent has sent a mail to CONROY Removals to ask them what's going on and so far, we have no answer. WHERE ARE MY PARCELS?
Very Poor Communication
Very poor customer service you took ages to respond you didn’t contact me when it had arrived I know it was Christmas but you could of emailed an said an also no one contacted me on the day of delivery for the first time of arrival as I had to call an ask

Your star system should go to a minus number as far as we are concerned! The packing team was lacking in timing (poor being on time), lack of communication with us , a case of too many indians & no chief we could contact. The standard of packing left much to be desired . A TV was packed with objects that penetrated the screen, rendering it unusable, grossly negligent in my opinion & we should be recompensed for its replacement! Many fragile items should have been wrapped in bubble wrap not paper . Fortunately none were damaged . Some cartons were packed upside down , enough said when unpacking .Too cap it off a wheelbarrow & drill press was left on the front lawn in Wellington ! Certainly it was collected following a phone call. We have rung several times subsequently to locate them as they have not been received, & apparently they are in Auckland ,not where we want it in Pukawa ( near Turangi). We await delivery , our instructions have been quite clear . You have a major problem with the way telephone enquires are handled , people say I will ring you back , they cant answer you query , ,& it seems to go into file 13 .
As you can see our experience with Conroy has been far from satisfactory , & i would be happy to discus this with SENIOR MANAGEMENT ,by TELEPHONE . A reply by email would not be acceptable & our phone # is advised. O7 3866110
Your front desk staff in Napier were excellent, however the rest of the moving process was very poor. Firstly, you forgot that you had made an appoointment to come to my house on the 2nd December 2017, and I had to ring up to ask when the removable men were coming. Three hours later they turned up, then was asked why my boxes were not sealed and ready to go. I was told to leave them open for staff to view contents before sealing. Was also told that certain items would be packed in my home before removal. They were not. One gentleman just about dropped my sewing machine, before I could tell him how to carry it.
I did not receive at any stage a copy of my inventory and someone failed to sent the Brisbane depot a copy of my Australian declaration form. Communication was very poor, with myself having to ring up NZ from Aussie to find out how long before my goods were to leave NZ. The whole process took 66 days from start to finish. A VERY LONG WAIT!!!!

However on arrival at Brisbane, I could not fault their service. Good communication and excellent service.
I would not recommend Napier Conroy Removals, unless their services improve!!
